  12. Seem to remember the Judge (or maybe prosecuting brief) giving him a back handed compliment on his hand speed, "like a professional boxer" or something along those lines.
  13. This Hodgson manages to pull off being a clueless c*** and a malevolent c*** at the same time. He is about as far removed from the fabled Liverpool Way as you can get, so Hodgson Out is fair game as far as I'm concerned, and I'd even risk getting a crack for it (if I could be arsed going the match of course).
  14. Roy needs to start putting more work into his tactics - he has no idea what to do with his hands whilst watching yet another pile of utter s**** unfold in front of him. It sums up where we are that I noticed that the yard dog of yard dogs Samba got sent off the other night, and I started to wonder (hopefully) if that meant he'd be suspended against us.

    Stoke Away

Stoke to prevent Liverpool scoring at 3/1 - looks generous. The idea that you can defend set pieces by sticking a couple of extra tall fellas in the side is mad. The way to play Stoke is to keep possession and play them in their own half - that said we haven't got players who can keep possession.

Gulp. Doesn't really matter what formation you play with that side. Hope all the lads going have a good bevy before and after.
  17. Senior Merseyside Police officers couldn't possibly be influenced by powerful local "businessmen" could they? *searches in vein for a funny handshake smilie*
  18. Has Doctor Death worked his way back in behind the scenes? The number of injuries Torres picks up is a big concern. I'm sure people will say it's heresy but it's something I'd be thinking about if a massive bid came in for him.
  19. I certainly wouldn't want us to start using Lucas as a benchmark for top class midfielders. Agree that Aquilani must play ahead of Lucas when Mascherano's back though.
  20. My wild speculation is that Benitez is just desperately hoping for things to click with these players, and cannot get his head around how the likes of Kuyt - who he thought he could rely on - can be so s**** so regularly. Looked like a man at the end of his tether in his interview after the match.
  21. Not seeing it I'm afraid. Obviously short of match fitness but he seems to telegraph quite a few passes. Not got the speed or disguise in his passing that was clearly in Alonso's game from day one.
  22. The fact that we've got as many regular players (Kuyt, Lucas, Mascherano, Babel, N'Gog, Insua) as I can remember in a Liverpool side who cannot be relied on to retain possession doesn't help. Carragher and Sktrel don't need much of an excuse to go for the long ball and if it's a choice between that any playing it into Lucas or Kuyt, it's obvious what they'll do. It all leads to us being under far more pressure than before, lots of free kicks in our half and corner kicks which they are also struggling with. At the same time Carragher is definitely not the player he was.

Has a mosaic been confirmed? BYE BYE YOU MASSIVE TURD
  24. Not really sure what kind of defender Skrtel is. He was meant to be a hardcase but seen little evidence of that unless you count half arsed late tackles. Unconvincing in the air, no confidence on the ball, a bit slow, doesn't read the game, not likely to get you a goal at a set piece. Well short of the quality we need. What's happened with Ayala? The game against long ball playing Stoke, he didn't lose a header all game. Didn't look any great shakes on the ball but I put that down to nerves.
