AE

It seems to me that people have questioned him for years. It almost feels like they are just waiting for age to catch up with him so they can be proven right Why can't we just enjoy him for his last few seasons and be grateful we have been lucky enough to watch a truly great player in our team

Got to admit I had worries he was a spoofer early on, but supported him as he was the Liverpool manager. I think he still has lots to learn but more than happy for him to prove me wrong

Poor team selection, poor performance - the slide starts here?

I hope we destroy these, getting a big, big win. I have a good feeling for once (so we are bond to lose 0-1 with us having 200 shots on goal now.... )

So we now know the FSG strategy to get us back into the champions league.... a sex change

Well in Rafa, just seen the score Mind you the Beeb still hates him...... Serie A league table Edit - that link is useless, but at the time of posting if you scroll down and check the Seria A table it shows Cagliari and Sampdoria top after 42 games. Anything to keep Rafa off the top

I was really ****ed off yesterday, but like most on here the last few years have ground me down and I just sort of accept it these days Yesterday the bubble and dreams burst for this season and the reality hit. Yes, I think we may do better and maybe even sneak a top 4, if we are really lucky, but we still have a long way to go, and I am still not 100% sure about Rodgers. Hope is now dimished and back to an "oh well" attitude as we start to drop more and more disappointing points. Now I will just settle back for the season, enjoy the wins and ignore the defeats.

Is she his ex now, or are they still together??

most of the time

Even just to wnd them up......

But where we ever allowed to talk to him?? It is hard to see us being a better option than Dortmund for him, so maybe it was just a lack of interest on his part once he knew Dortmund were in for him??

Wasn't he also a Dortmund fan when he was a kid? So he has joined team that has just been in the final of the champions league, in one of the top European leagues that is currently producing a number of teams doing well in Europe wide club competition, who he supported as a boy, in a country close to his own and culterally could be quite similar?..... Obvious really, he went for the money

in the right pockets........ (finished the sentance for you)

Its just the stop gap until the mods let us open the winter transfer window thread......

Bring back Momo Before he signs for Reading

Tim Vickery Article Not exactly what we would all believe, but he (sort of) makes the point that Suarez will give 100% to us whether he wants to be with us or not just for his country..... Personally I think Suarez is the sort that would generally give 100% always because he just loves playing football and, more importantly, winning.

Bolton midfielder who used to play for us..... Its his Mum. She texts Gibo all the time you know........ Think Heinz, think HP, think Daddy's......

Won't happen. It just won't, but at least it makes today interesting....

Have you been alseep all this summer?? Willian for a start

And Gerrard hopefully nicked picked up his phone by mistake after yesterdays game....

Agree, really cannot see Mata coming to us, particularly given the Moses deal as well. Reckon that is just another final day myth to add into the mix (I would not be surprised if we have asked and even been trying, but the likihood of it happening will be another myth)

Sinclair has already gone elsewhere hasn't he? Do you mean Moses?

Footism that is, pure and simple

Don't we seem to be doing that a bit more now? A lot of the money is going on kids and we this summers signing have been fitting fairly obvious holes, plus we have moved a couple of squad players on??
