It is starting to a feel a bit like Rafa's last season. Before he would have been one of the untouchables, but now it just sort of feels like it is time for him to go. Don't get me wrong, I want him to stay, but there is starting to be a feeling of inevitability about it.

Mirror has him down as raising doubts over his future, Guardian as demanding a new contract. I read that as I am happy here, we are getting better and I am happy to sit down and discuss a new contract this summer or next............ Slow news weeks after the international and Luis being away from the club means we can't stop him talking to the press. Agree with that. Where else could he go that will match them as a team for now...... Mind you, it will be interesting to see which Barca players end up in Munich over the next couple of years............. He was offered a new contract and we wanted to keep him. He decided he wanted to try and get first team football elsewhere. We must have parted on fairly good terms for him to be interested in wanting to come back.
