It really would be an end of an era. For years we have had the idiots always criticising him. When he is gone, even at his current age we will miss him so much. Great player, great servant.
Apologies if posted already, and for the source, but well worth a read on a dark miserable Monday morning http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2844035/XABI-ALONSO-MEETS-JAMIE-CARRAGHER-devastated-miss-Liverpool-return.html
I believe I was expressing those concerns two years ago. I changed my tune last year, we had to didn't we, but this year we look so bad with no game plan, maybe it was the right call after all?? I really hope not though.
So serious question, how long as he got left to sort this mess out? We are 4 points above the relegation zone and getting reasonably beaten by a team that will be happy to stay up. How much longer can the owners give him because we seem to be getting worse week on week ATM in our performances as well as results? For record I will always support the manger 100% and I really hope he turns it around, but this is no longer looking like any sort of blip.
Its starting to get worrying now Was last year just luck? The team seems to have reverted back to how it was when he started and he does not appear to be resolving or even addressing any of the key issues Big test now. If he's the real deal he needs to sort thing and quickly.
Ermmm... I wonder which ex United player he will be discussing in detail? Will be interesting to see what Luis (ghost writer) says and what gets passed the publishers lawyers
Just seen that my first post in this thread got replied to a lot. I am used to just being ignored so that was a shock For what its worth I am more and more excited about him signing and was never against it. I was just a bit surprised as I though FSG would not want the probable headlines that our lovely media will surely seek from him. For what little its worth I am definitely in the pro Mario camp.
So at what point did our management decide we needed another headliner grabber to replace the one we had just sold?? He could be great for us, but its going to be another roller-coaster ride
