Fair enough it just sounds like a bit of an overreaction against a player who we all know is on the way out thats all. I'm not a fan of Cisse at all as most know but fecking hell we won, he scored so thats good enough for me today.

Personally I think Mourinho does s*** like this for the attention and nothing else. He craves it and he knows something like this will fill the papers and get people talking about him.

Didn't see the game but we won and he scored. I'm happy enough with that.

He looks big enough to me to be honest. Anyway most of it is attitude. Keane isn't very big yet still often bossed players way bigger than him.

The only thing for me lacking in Gerrard's game at times is confidence. Against weaker teams he punishes them but against teams with players he knows are nearly his match I think he often goes into his shell. It's a shame as player like Lampard don't deserve to clean the skids of his boxers yet he seems to withdraw when up against that kind of media hyped player. Perhaps the whole team does but when Gerrard withdraws often our team does to.

I still think Gerrard is shy when it comes to games against the big guns myself. He was total crap against Arsenal at the weekend and was made look more than average by an 18 year old. He's a wonderful player alright but he needs to man up and show Hamann like consistency when it counts.

I agree. I think Sissoko is a better signing than Alonso and will go on to prove so. I'll get slated for this but I think Alonso in a winning team is a wonderful asset but Sissoko in a team fighting for the top is priceless. He's been our best signing in ages.

If Yakubu arrives I'll be awaiting my scouting fee. How long does it bloody take for clubs to see a quality player. I'm in the wrong job. Could have helped him out on the Cisse job too. *Time to change job only to realise it's just as tough if not tougher than most*

He's a brilliant play who scores for fun time and time again. Yet still he dives like a f***ing c*** time and time again as well as having a free ref pass when it comes to off sides and free kicks yet still celebrates like he's scored a 30 yard screamer which is something he's never ever going to do. f*** him. You poo poo Moro but I still can't work it out. I think it was Leo 8 who mentioned how strong he was in Spain (looked like a typical old school English forward ala Shearer) and I remember thinking that as well. Now unless the CB's in Spain are a bunch of ladyboys I don't know what has happened to him. Can he really be that unfit still? I honestly don't see our league being THAT much tougher. Chelsea didn't blow Barca down with tough tactics at all this season. He still shows what a great ball player he is from time to time outside the box with his quality one touch and quick turns etc but he used to do that stuff 30 yards up the pitch in the box as well as score which has me stumped. I really don't know if it's time for him to go or is it just a dreadful patch he's going through. I can see how his general play and 15 ish goals a season would do us a wonder of good (that's what I thought we'd get over a season) but I honestly don't know if it's passed him or he's just hit a really really poor patch.

I know it was a friendly but we still had forward play worth mentioning. Both of us remember which is bad for the current bunch.

I've seen most of his games this season. Either he's been really lucky with his shooting or else he's a quality player. Looks like Moro and plays like I hoped he would. Seems to have a brilliant shot on him and is aware of those around him. Never even heard of him a couple of months ago.

Ah was it 4-1 so? Eitherway that was the best 45 mins of liverpool forward for years for me. Their link up was like Collymore and Fowler or Hasselbaink and Gudjonsson who were quality together as well as a forward line.

I could be wrong but we were 1-0 down at half time and they came on and we won 3-1 in 45 mins with them scoring all 3 setting eachother up also. I was blown away and got so excited for the season ahead. Baros looked up, and both found eachother with ease. Baros did all the channel work and made room for Moro and then Baros was sold! I thought feck it Cisse can do the Baros roll then I realised he was worse than even I thought.

The only partnership I thought had genuine potential was Baros and Morienties against Olympiakos.In 45 minutes they showed more than anything I've seen all season. Setting eachother up, creating opportunities for eachother, reading eachothers games well, one goes wide the other goes into the box etc.

Oh God this all means Kuyt's s****. He's been likened to a mixture of Shearer, Fowler and Stoichkov. High praise indeed. Cisse was said to be a mixture of Crespo, Henry and Shevencho (sp?) but with more pace and a better shot.

I think that was against tranmere

I thought we could go on a nik it too but to be fair we never controlled the second half. We woke up after we scored but that's about it. Carra was really poor. Warnock might as well have stayed at home.Players waltzed past him all game. I thought Gerrard was brutal. Gave the ball away as much as Garcia. Garcia was crap apart from his goal. Crouch was cack as well. I thought we were really poor at the back today. It's bee a long time since forwards just strolled through our CB's time and time again.It was only luck we were not about 3-0 down at half time.
