Give it a rest. On a site that takes pride in showing up journos without a quotedue to experience I can't believe you use this. It's rumour and a safe one to fill space. SHOCK HORROR!!!! Maradona and Ronaldinho are both obviously exceptional players. There was a 10 minute vid doing the rounds a while ago comparing them (both playing for Barca and all) and the major difference for me having watched the clips was, one, the balls are lighter now hense all the swerve etc. But the main difference for me was the physical aspect of the game in the 80's when Maradona played. He was never given a second on the ball and the tackles which were coming in on him were outragious! Especially from behind yet he managed time and time again to ride them without losing the ball. He got zero time on the ball and could not afford to stand with his back to defenders flicking the ball up like Ronaldinho does as he'd have a leg breaking challenge from behind. I still think Ronaldinho is one of the most exciting players in the modern game but I think Maradona edges it still.

Because sometimes when I'm in the mood I'll let my sentences run and run and run until I totally fill up the line simply because I can. It makes me feel good. Other times I'll keep hitting enter also because I can.

Great lets make sure we get rid of anyone that has a hope of scoring. I can't see how this has anything to do with football. Granted he loses the ball alot but at least he scores. Our other forwards waste the ball too but on the down side don't score either. I think Crouch's goal against the mancs is the only goal ourforwards have scored this year. Perhaps our great defensive record is seriously costing us up front. I'd be sad to see him go.

Not able to watch the match today I'm listening to it on the radio (5 mins after kickoff) and Fowler's name hasn't been mentioned at all. Is he just not getting the ball at all or what?

Kewell is a better header of the ball than Crouch, Moro and Cisse. Also he wins more 50/50 headers than all the other 3. Doesn't make sense at all.

I'd love to see SWP, King and Defoe. Chav Cole can feck off.
