  1. We started brightly and as has been the problem ALL season we don't stick our chances away which would have demoralised them and given us the incentive required to go on and win comfortably. We got desperate and slung it long. We were poor after the first 30. Schit appens, we've no right to expect to win any game easy in this competition. We need 2, possibly 3 front players, we're strong in the middle and defensive areas and have plenty to be cheerful on. That side have given us a fantastic ride in Europe of late, so give them a break. YNWA
  2. Kenyon won't offer it, would see it as a weakness.
  3. It's all rubbish, he's hyped himself up that much and he simply hasn't the intelligence or tactical nouse to back it up. In fact i'd say he's an average tactician, despite what the masterful Gordon Strachan thinks. He's a brilliant man-manager, and he's not afraid to make tough decisions. That's where his qualities lie. Nothing more, nothing less. I despise his antics, can't say I despise the man because I've never met the guy. His public persona is that of an idiot. An embarrassment to Chelsea fans everywhere, despite his domestic success.
  4. Had it worked, it'd be more to do with luck than any great tactical masterstroke, John. He gave away 3 silly frees in the short time he was on. José is a busted flush Cobs When the going gets tough, google.
  5. Fair enough Cobs, but what about shoving a reserve centre back up front to get them a goal. Not the first tme he's done it but smacks of idiocy from the so-called 'special one'.
  6. Yes John, I remember the conversation we had, but that's how functional they are. And Cobs, just look at the Mighty Porto now. I'm sure Kenyon is looking for something a bit long term. Give José another season, at best.
  7. Had a conversation with a life-long Chelsea fan this morning. Talking about the game and in fairness he conceded that Barca were the better side over two legs. I aked why José couldn't say that after the match. His response was 'because he's a pr1ck'. They went with an attacking format but simply couldn't rid themselves of their functional mentality that's proved so successful domestically. I have been saying this for a while, that that type of game can only get you so far at that level.
  8. I didn't and don't.
  9. There's not a lot of need for it to be honest, they're a strong side and can compete against any side on their own merits. Why does he feel the need to rub it into a club like WBA or Spurs, or consistently take a shot at Wenger, or even us, it's ludicrous. it was funny for a bit, now he's just another t1t.
  10. I actually though Terry was one of the beter ones. Don't get me wrong, there's none that isn't guilty of this type of thing, but it's becoming a bit of a nonsense. He's Wenger & Ferguson look like angels
  11. You'll be busy this week, Cobs. Did Robson call him a fogg-ot?

  19. Almost too nice a player, if you know what I mean. Probably had it easy at Brondby for a fair while, but excellent prospect.
