Despite my initial reluctance to believe this story, I know that if we give this guy chances he will convert. Ged's side, the one Robbie left wasn't geared towards creating decent chances for our centre forwards, he constantly went deep to get involved with link-up play. As we are now, he'll thrive. Sometimes a signing transcends what they can do, with regard to pace, power, fitness, sharpness etc.., this guy is a Liverpool player, a legend, so to speak. this is the most 'romantic' signing I've ever witnessed and I'm coming round to seeing its merits as a good signing on a purely footballing basis.
