Meh. I had sort of figured he wasn't going to renew either way. I don't think the club has the appetite for the kind of salary bump he'd likely want anymore (even in the reasonable arena of salary bumps) and I don't think Konate can see himself renewing without it. Sportingwise, I think we're also in a place of moving on being an opportunity as much as a loss. The injuries, unstable form and lack of ability on the ball adds up to a potential area of improvement at this point.
