surely needs to be mugged off after that interupting that interview. One rule for one and another rule for others
-
I think the point is Reina was good before Achterberg came on board
-
I would say Vardy and Jerome Boeteng would be good left field shouts - both a bit old but have won their respective leagues
-
I think we will lose Sturridge, Ings and Origi that will probably generate £40m - £50m. Not sure who Klopp would buy as they will basically be backup to Mane,Salah & Bobby. But getting them off the wage bill will probably save 250k pw - £13m a year in wages, which is a huge saving. I guess we will also be looking at extending Mane and Salah's contract - which will eat into the £13m

I think he has been making alot of mistakes in the last few months such as 1) Sane's equaliser in the 4-3 2) lucky with the punch that went off Milner in the 2-1 at the Emptyhad 3) lucky with the Kolorov shot that went through his hands and hit the crossbar 4) Roma's 2nd goal in Rome palmed out straight to Dzeko to be honest I would be happy with a GK that just didn't make mistakes - a decent one - both Butland and Allison didn't do anything in the games vs Liverpool to make me think they were that great. For me a goalkeeper doesn't win you matches - but as you can see can easily lose you a game. I trust Klopp and I will support whoever our goalie is next season. What I will say is that if it is Karius then he will have to be spectacular as anytime he makes a mistakes it will be on Klopp. Hamman was also pretty damning of Karius as he said that he should not have gone to the fans - also he basically said he comes across as arrogant

can someone clear up a point about Danny Ings goal - why was it flagged for offside when Kane was not for the first penalty - both defenders deliberately played the ball and missed and it went to the opposition striker but only the liverpool one was flagged for offside - did I miss something?
-
On twitter - but someone has just said he is injured but out for the season is b******s - he will probably miss the Stoke game This started because of the picture of him coming out of the hospital limping
-
rumours are torn hammy - out for the season
-
if that is the case than the first equaliser should be chalked offside as Kane was in an offside position when the cross came meaning Karius had to clear it. It was also noted that Lamela was in an offside position for the pen - that was not looked at in detail. Those 2 are a bunch of clowns officiating. It is also amazing that Davies nearly kicked Salah in the head and did not even get a booking. This is the same ref that sent off Mane @ Man City

I am just waiting for the T-Shirts from the Everton players. If I am honest that Holgate seemed a nasty piece of work and my bluenose supporting mate said it was nasty of him to push him as he did
-
maybe that is why OX was bought in ? they asked Coutinho to stay until Jan until the OX settles - which he has done. Everything points to this deal happening a few months back. the difference between we are getting now and what was offered is £40m, the add-ons are ludicrusly obtainable as well - I think it just staggers some of the payments to be honest
-
i think he was always going to go in Jan, we bought in the Ox to integrate him into the team while Phil was still around. The way Barca and Phil behaved was terrible, but he always gave his all and he always wanted to go to either Barca or Real so I don't begrudge him his move. We have always lost our best players to clubs abroad - Keegan, Souness, Rush, Suarez the only anomolies were Torres and Sterling ( Sterling was because Brendan was a prick and I think he even said that if he had gone that summer he would have stayed )
-
vardy and Mahrez would be good
-
latin players always want to go to Barca or Real, I heard that Klopp has made the call to keep him away from the team for selection as he only wants players 100% committed. As it stands nothing has happened just the normal media bulls*** from Barca. I think the club will evaluate once a bid comes in
-
if this continues it means he will miss the Man city game at Anfield
-
he was solid end of last year - when we were struggling to get top 4. His goal against Watford and Burnley were massive for us., He steps up when needed. I will be gutted when he goes as I feel that he could turn into a solid DM for us
-
Barca really are a c**t of a club. I am still not sure why we don't report them. If we let them do this with Phil - who's next Mane, Salah ?. We need to stand firm - yes Phil wants to go - but surely the summer is better for both clubs. We all know Barca ain't got the cash for what we value Phil - they need to sell before they but - wages are 80% of revenue and they still need to develop the Nou Camp. This is why all this BS is in the media to get his price down - then they'll pull the same BS they did with Suarez about how they got him less than his release clause etc..
-
to be honest from the refs angle it looks like a pen, yes it is soft but it is still a pen. I think the problem is Liverpool with a bit of luck should have been out of sight by maybe 2-3 goals. The penalty last week vs Brighton I thought was less than the one vs Everton but because it did'nt matter no one cared. The rotation of the team was fine - when would you play them ?? He probably wanted to play Sturridge but he was injured and the midfield of Hendo, Milner and Ox were fine and the team Klopp put out should have walked this fixture but they didn't. I believe that when you look at the squad and team we have a top 4 team and with a couple of new CB and maybe a LB and Goalie we will be challenging next year. What I blame Klopp for is not bringing in a CB over summer as we knew that Lovren is a liability and Matip is very injury prone. We have 5 games in the next 17 days which if we get 13 points out of the possible 15 we will be in a very good position to push forward in the second half of the season
-
All this goes back is the owners not investing in the structure of the club from a footballing side. They have a great manager but Klopp needs help - he can't do it himself. Certain things he has to take the blame for - like consistently playing Lovren and Mignolet when actually there are better players than them. When looking at CB and GK you are looking at an upgrade on Lovren and Mignolet - surely that can't be all difficult. They are both experienced professionals and have reached their ceilings. I am pissed off that all 4 goals were mistake as it seems we don't get these gifts and have to work our b******s off to get whereas we gift goals every game. I am not sure where the defence goes from here as Klopp can't sign anyone until Jan. H may need to look at the structure of the team and maybe play with a DM for a while or a pivot of 2 until the goals against column improves.

I think everyone here would be happy if FSG just hired some competent people in the day to day running of the football club. We have Klopp and a strong back room team. What Klopp and the club needs are some football people to run the club. We have no-one with contacts at the club bar Klopp and that needs to change especially as moneywise we don't have the money to compete with Man City and Utd which is fine. What we don't need is one of our owners mouthing off that we have got our main transfer done when we haven't and then getting that players club mad at us. Some of you laugh at Comolli but he had the contacts at the clubs and the relationships to get the deal over the line - we are lacing that at the moment. A good example is Diego Costa we couldn't' get him in the summer of 13 at £25m he had an amazing season ( won the La Liga got tho the final of CL with Athleti ) and he went to Chelsea for £32m. I would say this is due to Chelsea/Mourinho having the relationship with Jorge Mendes. I am not saying it is right or wrong but that is how football works and it becomes more important when you don't have as much money to make mistakes. As a club we have been run poorly over the last 20-25 years and have seen us overtaken by Chelsea / Man City ( external money ) Arsenal /Spurs - well run. We have been living off our history for too long and the owners probably need to take the view that we are not a business and can't operate as such. As such I don't want new owners I just want us to be run properly
-
luck in theory should in theory even out though I have not seen a beach ball score for us / or stopped one against us. That equaliser yesterday whilst it was bad initially from the from the CM, Matip got back and made a decent tackle - unluckily it went into the goal. Guarantee you we would not get a goal like that in our current form
-
I think the shortcomings of the transfer window are coming home to roost. Klopp identified the areas - CB, CM and an etra winger, we only got 1 out of those 3 in and look where we are. Man City and United addressed their areas and they are top of the table. Klopp needs more help. Michael Edwards had a poor window and I surprised he is still in a job
-
Had no leaders on the pitch - no-onee went over to Klopp to find out how to organise the team until half time. Our in game management is terrible, I was disappointed in the subs - all I can hope is that the tonking does'nt impact us at the end of the season like when Citee thumped Utd and it went to the last game of the season and Citee won the title because of that goal difference. Also with us in 13-14 people can talk about the Palace game but if we weren't conceding goals for fun we would have had to worry about the goal difference in the end. Man City won it by 2 points but it was only because Liverpool had to chase goals vs palace. Until we care about about keeping clean sheets we won't win the league - on Saturday it looked like after the sending off we gave up. But in previous seasons we have battled stronger and even won games when 1 man down. Not sure what has changed. Hopefully it is a wake up call and it should push us forward
-
McMannaman done the same - I think we will sell in Jan to Juventus
-
he will get something like a £100m signing on fee with £1m per week wages - Messi is awesome. But on serious note it is funny how badly the Prima Liga have taken it. I think they think Messi will be next - hence why they have tried to report Man City. But I am sure only 10 years ago Real done the same thing when they sold there training ground for a ridiculous amount of money and got a new one for like a couple of quid as they are basically bank rolled by the Spainish Central bank and the Royal Family.
