    To be fair I think that was the intent against West Ham but they couldn’t find their rhythm. Don’t think abandoning what has worked all season will happen.

    He’s necessitated this shift to 4-2-3-1 because he can’t influence a game like he did last year. He has shown flashes but a long way off. Hopefully he can start to click on the run in but he looked knackered last night.

    Thought he was one of our brighter players in the second half. He looks lost and I don’t think we know the best way to use him. Trying to refrain from judging him too much at the minute when we are looking a bit lost in general.

    s*** game. Lots of injuries. A bit out of form. One moment of not concentrating has undone us like against Leicester. It will tell at the end of the season that we are still picking up points during this period.

    How many qualifiers did you want me to put? The difference between first striker off the bench and 3rd choice right back is pretty self-evident. As for Clyne's defensive talents - we seem to have done pretty well without him.

    A guy coming on for 15 minutes to try and score a goal is different to some guy being marginally better at right back for a couple of games.

    Whether we win the league or not isn't going to be decided by a guy who played a handful of games in the last 6 months.

    Robertson gave the free kick away because he made a mistake 30 seconds earlier and was frustrated. Nothing to do with fatigue, it was just a bit of stupidity, which he's entitled to considering how consistent he's been.

    Think it's unfortunate that we've played Palace and Leicester during this period. You aren't facing Gray or Zaha every week. Trent, Gomez, Milner, Henderson and Comacho is fine. Missing three players from one position is something you can't always mitigate, besides it could be that Clyne didn't want to stay.

    5 points is a lot. Only 14 games left. We’ve never lost back-to-back games under Klopp have we? And City won’t win all their games.

    Think taking Keita off was a mistake, in hindsight. Hendo at right back was a necessity against Chilwell and Gray. We lost our shape in the last 15 and stopped doing the good things we did in the first half. Understand the idea that Sturridge can do something from nothing but he looked lost. Origi has looked brighter for a while now.
