i was f***ing amazed to see poll disallow terry's header. it was a blatant foul yes, but it's not very often that a ref spots them and gives them.

I thought Cudicini played Crouch and not the ball - should have been a pen and a red card...Moanio didn't catch that one either.

1. the foul by Terry. wasn't a foul but he blew for a very similar challenge by Crouch on Terry by the sideline so at least he was consistent.

 

2. The goal by Terry, deffo a foul but very surprised that he blew for it.

Was never a penalty, 50/50 which both players didn't give up on. Fair enough that noone got anything crucial off it.

Commentators always go on about consistency but seemingly forgot it in that instance. Motson was quick to point to the earlier Crouch one when Crouch challenged Cudicini with his foot up but didn't mention it when Terry did the same.

 

Overall Poll gave them everything. Crouch was very hard done by in particular.

I thought he was awful. Gave a foul against Gerrard for a shoulder barge on Robben and only a couple of minutes later gives nothing when one of their players does the exact same thing.
