Totti broke his ankle on the weekend and is a doubt for the world cup.

 

I Know he's not the most popular player but he is one of my favourite players and if anything is underrated. Hopefully he can get fit for the world cup because i love watching him play, don't care about spitting,diving etc he is class end of.

He gets into peoples Top 5 players lists and yet whenever there's a major tournament or he comes up against a decent team in Europe he disappears. There are so many better players than him in the position he plays.

 

Plays well in his backgarden but doesn't travel well at all.

It's not just a case of him disappearing, he almost seems to go out of his way to ensure he's unable to play against the big teams or on the biggest stage, by either spitting, diving constantly or committing horrendous tackles. Seems like he's terrified of actually having to live up to his reputation and therefore engineers situations that will prevent him from having to perform.

But I'm with the ones on Totti's side. He may not always behave like he should on the pitch, but when on form, he would walk into our side, no problem!

 

He really is Mr. Roma. A joy to watch when it works out for him. What a shame he won't be able to beat Lazio in the weekend :(

They reckon he'll only be out for two-three months meaning he should just make it back in time for the world cup.

 

He is one of the thickest people ever to walk onto a football pitch. He and Rooney have so much in common. Talented, but a total failure as a human being.

agreed. One of those players who should be great to watch but who are such humongous jerks that it actually detracts from the footballing experience.

 

Unlike Diouf, Totti has the ability to do something with the ball and even carry an entire team. Diouf just gobs at people.

 

you are blind. Diouf may not be as talented as Totti, but he has plenty of football ability.

In fact, Beckham is a closer comparison that Rooney.
