what do 2 yellows make?

he didn't, it was a straight red. He has also added a separate yellow fo rthe first challenge. You can't appeal against a red given for two yellows, but you can appeal a straight red. The BBC have got it wrong.

What, wrong that you can appeal a red, or wrong that Reina got two yellows?

It seems pretty conclusive with the line that Wiley has confirmed it was for two yellows though.

He deserved a straight red, simple

You can not raise your hands to another player above the chest and make contact with them

It went in our favour anfield a couple of weeks ago against Newcastle

Sorry, but all this whining is doing my head in, it was Reina's fault, no one elses. He lost his cool and raised his hand to another player, that is an automatic red card

He shouldnt of been beaten from that angle by crespo, he was luckly when he spilled it at the end of the first half and it was disallowed for offside, he should of been more dominant in his box when alonso scored the own goal against brum when it was allowed to drop in our six yard box with the keeper no way near it and he f'cked up against bolton as well when he dropped it.

Bad month for Reina all round. Dont care if people have a go at me, he has made three mistakes now in four game sthat have cost us

I agree with the first half but I don't agree it was his fault really for the Alonso own goal.

Is that why Carvalho stayed on the pitch then, because he used his elbow and not his hand ?

It's oh so clear now....

We should appeal and point to that the assistant ref was blind. If he'd have spotted the obvious handball (happened a couple of metres in front of thim) nothing of this would have happened.

Or something. Lets end this "mr. nice guy" thing right now.

That has nothing to do with the fact that the reason reina got sent off was reina, not robben

He raised his hand and touched the face of another player - straight red. This after doing a bruce lee scissor kick right in front of the linesman

We are turning into a bunch of whining hypocrites. We have had about three of four dodgy sendings off in our favour this season and we whine when it happens to us, the sending off against Birmingham was NOT a sending off, Reina's was.

So you think a keeper should stay rooted to his line and allow a looping header to come back across his goal and bounce in his six yard box ?

It was not entirely the keepers fauly, obviously alonso shares repsonsibility but a dominant keeper should NEVER let the ball bounce in his six yard box

The goal against birmingham came from a corner, headed back across goal which was then allowed to bounce three yards from the goal line in the middle of the goal cos the keeeper never came for it

The crespo finish was a brilliant finish, but he should not of got beaten from that angle without even getting a hand, or leg to it

The rest of your rant, don't understand a word of it

I didn't see it bounce until after Alonso had chested it down...

Reina was scrambling to try and save the fecker before having to jump the other way to try and save the chest down.

Did I say it wasn't ?

It was a stonewall feckin' red card for Carvalho, just like it was a stonewall red for Reina. Difference is, one impacted the game far more than the other or is that beyond comprehension ?

Rules is rules.

My point is that reina should of been off his line and claiming it in the air after it was headed back across goal BEFORE it got to alonso

Instead he stayed on his line when it was headed back across goal and that is what caused the confusion

He stayed on his line because he was expecting the ball to be headed towards the goal and he'd have to make the save - he can't be in two places at once.
