Cunny Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Where the feck are they getting their money from?
Woodsyla Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Where the feck are they getting their money from? I read a 'Rich List' the other day and one of their director is the 2nd richest man in football (behind you know who) maybe he got his change purse out. Philip Green I think it was.
Guest Carragold Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 They will also sign Danny Murphy and Hassam Ghaly from Feyenoord today
Woodsyla Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 didn't know he was a Director at Spurs Neither did I till I read the list in 442. They have also just offloaded a load of players so maybe that has something to do with it as well.
Boca Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 They will also sign Danny Murphy and Hassam Ghaly from Feyenoord today Danny, playing for a foreign manager ? Surely not.
CarraLegend Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Where the feck are they getting their money from? Probably another one of their fantasy bids, desperately wanted us to sign Torres but that fee would be madness, he's been pretty poor for about a year apparently, then again he is a young lad who's basically had to carry them.
Leo No.8 Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Torres for me would be a gigantic risk as that price. Very, very talented, but not really made for English football. In my opinion only Chelsea have got enough money to take a chance on him and recover if he flops.
Maldini Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Where the feck are they getting their money from?Portsmouth and Chelsea mostly. I think they've lost the run of themselves, spending £20.5m on one player when they're no better than mediocre in other areas is irresponsible.
Ombudsam Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 I don't normally like calling young players overrated when our rivals bid for them but i really think Torres is. Read an article saying that with raul out torres will have to carry spain's attack. i hope so because if it's him instead of that Villa bloke (player and a half him) then it makes it easier for england
Cobs Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Danny, playing for a foreign manager ? Surely not.just on the BBC website, says it might happen....
Guest Red Mist Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Danny can't hate foreign managers that much considering it was Frenchman Houllier who rescued him from the mediocrity Englishman Evans' had left him in.

David Villa is a hell of a player. But in Spain coaches are too biased to see that. We will see s*** players like Helguera in the defend and Torres and Raul in the attack
Crazy Horse Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 What'll he do at Spurs with all them furriners??
