Is it a choice between watching us be crap again and using that large natural buttplug?

Let me think about it.

The only prem team that Slot has never managed to beat

He’s never beaten Leeds or Sunderland. The evidence is mounting up!

Slot will be more fired up for this one than any game in his career and that has nothing to do with our current predicament.

Let's see if he can transmit that to the players.

Historically Prem? He's never beaten Oldham or Bristol City or Bradford or Blackpool or Swindon.  There's loads.  If he doesn't beat Derby by teatime today I want him out, the big Division 2-level spoofer.

There are loads of players I can't be arsed with in our squad right now, so I'm going for:

Mamardashvilli, Bradley Gomez Virgil Robbo, Endo Gravenberch, Chiesa Szoboslai Rio, Isak

Can't be arsed with some of them either, but we're not rolling in options.

I don't think we've played against a long ball team at Anfield. Far more confident playing Forest at home than away, though.

United, actually. And we know how that went. Hopefully we don't have centre midfielders playing centre forward like Mac Allister against them.

Yeah, that United horror aside, I still just expect us to win at Anfield, even thought we've hardly set the world alight at home either.

Genuine nightmare territory - if it isn't already - if we don't win this.

Should be going on a run of wins now with the fixtures the way we are. Just no real excuse.

it isn't a league cup game.

I just can’t see us not winning. I can’t really picture it.

I can. We've had a newly promoted Leeds win somehow two years back at Anfield.

Anything is possible. We're fragile. Hopefully that's not the case but I'm not exactly looking forward to this, until we prove otherwise.

I know it intellectually but how are we not gonna beat Forest at Anfield. We have to be able to beat some teams.

We are still very good at home. Beat Real Madrid last home game. No reason we can't beat Forest.

I hope they don’t do big kicks.

So you're saying that we shouldn't lose by playing like a disjointed bunch of bums then?

Because nobody told the manager for the last couple of months.

Played 7 at home this season in league and champions league, won 6.

Play Robertson. Let him charge round for 70 minutes fuelled by pure adrenaline, pride and buzz.

Kerkez can play on Weds.

Remember how off it he was the game after we won the league under Klopp? Don't want a repeat of that.

Well that's picking and choosing stats. We've lost 7 out of our last 10 games.

we're at home on saturday, so its not picking and choosing, its the most relevant

As a general rule of thumb, we've lost more often than we've won recently, which personally I'm taking as an indication that we're tactically or psychologically lacking in some way. If you want to argue that it's because most of the games were away games, then go for it, and I really hope you're right. If you look at how we've done generally against physical and direct teams, I'm expecting that we're going to have a really uncomfortable time and probably show the same deficiencies as if we were playing at their ground.
