Did anyone see Jeff Stelling change topic once Tommo got stuck in Fat Sam over the Danny Murphy comments.

Thommo wouldn’t let it drop that Fat Sam always has to have his say, especially when 'digging' Rafa out last year with his ridiculous comments. Stelling stuttered and tried to get it back on topic i.e slag Danny off for his comments, and when he realised Thommo wouldnt let it go he moved it on to another game.

Typical Sky up to their usual tricks.

Rubbish programme, dont know why I bothered watching it.

Mate of mine has a family connection to Murphy and was at a christening with him the other week.

Apparently he was really laying into Allardyce in particular that day as well.

Hates the c*** by all accounts.

Which is nice.

Doubt Danny and Rafa ever saw eye to eye, but would put my house on it that Rafa would have been backing him up unlike all the other managers who have hung him out to dry towing the party line!

Pretty simple, Murphy was not good enough. He was sold. That's it. Thanks for a couple of goals at OT. Now f*** off.

Been done to death on here before I know but Murpshy only went in the end becasue Rafa wouldn't promise him first team football - both Rafa and DM said at the time that Rafa was happy with in the squad but if he wanted guaranteed first team football he needed to move on.

Have to say, I was glad he did because I always thought he was a liability in midfield, but in Rafa's eyes he was at least partly good enough.....

Allardyce is a c***.

A yard-dog defender that became a yard-dog manager.

If you read Sir Bobby Robson's autobiography, you'll see that Bolton have always been like that, i.e. from Sir Bobby's playing days.

I like Soccer Saturday, it makes me laugh because I don't take it seriously.

Same here but given the amount of coverage that Sky give to football, I would love a show that gives some cutting insight into the game.

I feel Goals on Sunday, Sunday Supplement and The Last Word are their attempts but they fail miserably.

I would give more time to Sunday Supplement but even then you have to take the nuggets of wisdom out of the dross, they need a show that is solid.

See Pulis tried to drag Cole into it for a tackle that was barely a foul, and compared it to DeJong's leg breaker.

Still, good to see Roy spring to his defence and call Pulis out on it.

I assume he did right?

If anything, the Cole foul was a prime example of Danny's point that pumped-up players make reckless fouls under poor judgement.

No I don't think so, he was more concerned about trying to justify why he shouldn;t be sacked, or at least paid off with the full length of his contract.
