I personally thought the ref was excellent. Of course nothing will happen to him like happened to Jenas:

 

 

Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed referee Claus Bo Larsen 'did not have his best game' on Wednesday night.

 

The Red Devils claimed a 1-0 victory in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final tie at Old Trafford but the Red Devils were guilty of profligacy in front of goal.

 

Ronaldo has questioned two key offside calls that denied United goalscoring opportunities after Anderson appeared onside when he was flagged while the decision over a run by Ryan Giggs was borderline.

 

The Portuguese said: "Two offsides are not offside and a few fouls he didn't give. It was not his best game.

 

"The first one Anderson was not offside and, with Giggsy, I'm not sure either. They are not great decisions but you have to respect the referees even if they were not brilliant - and just hope they will be better at Arsenal."

 

Very experienced

Ronaldo also voiced his confidence that the Red Devils will overcome the Gunners at Emirates Stadium next week and book their place in May's showpiece in Rome.

 

"We should be the favourites, we are the holders of the Champions League and we are full of confidence," he said.

 

"It's going to be more difficult now Arsenal are at home but it's no problem to us as we are very experienced.

 

"We created so many chances that I believe we will score again at Arsenal next week.

 

"It was (Manuel) Almunia's night and he stopped a few goals and, when the goalkeeper is the best player on the pitch, it shows how difficult it is for other teams to play against us."

The main reason I thought the ref had a good game was because he didn't fall for all of this c**** diving

I so wish domestic refs would adopt the same approach to Ronaldo as the guy last night did. But of course, the big brown envelope with the Old Trafford postmark that they get each month in their letterbox means that they never will. ™ A@A :D

Ref has replied that Ronaldo seemed to be wearing the wrong boots as he had a hard time standing up.

I have never hated a player as much as I hate Ronaldo. My son's hatred of him exceeds even mine, makes my heart burst with pride that I have taught him so well. He is an abomination, everything that is wrong with football and he ain't even THAT good.

 

As for that f*cking set up when he takes free kicks, somebody should just punch him in the face repeatedly until he stops.

It's just stuck with me since I was a kid. Can't stand the man and was so glad his managerial career went breasts up so spectacularly.

He was a right dirty c*nt who always got away with it, we can't talk mind Ronnie Whelan was the same, I never rated him either. I thought this might be blind bias because the mancs revere him but I honestly never saw it with Robson, good player obviously but not THAT good. remeber when he got caught shaggin Claire Tomlinson, feckin laugh that was. Viv Anderson was in the next room with her mate but the reporters never sussed it.
