Jim D Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 (edited) Apparently Chelsea game is off because of fog, hold on a minute it is back on...... Edited January 14, 2009 by Jim D
Jim D Posted January 14, 2009 Author Posted January 14, 2009 (edited) Mancs line up as follows: Van der Sar, Rafael, Evans, Vidic, O'Shea, Ronaldo, Scholes, Carrick, Nani, Berbatov, Rooney, Bennett. Strong line up particularly in attack, defence looks weak but they should cope with the extra man they have. Edited January 14, 2009 by Jim D

Falconhoof Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Six changes from Sunday. I bet the journos are already sharpening their wits to slag Mr. Ferguson for rotating........ That side will comfortably beat Wigan, it won't be an issue.
Murphman Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 That side will comfortably beat Wigan, it won't be an issue. Shock coming up. You heard it here first.
Falconhoof Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Shock coming up. You heard it here first. I hope so Murph, really f***ing hope so.
Sion Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 One of two things will happen 1) Wigan will hold on till the 80th minute or later than concede2) They'll concede early and lose about 4-0 Seeing that Wigan are playing 4-4-2, it'll probably be the latter

Tosh Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 still 0-0 after 30 secs. f*** offwrong again Mancs 1-0
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 f***ing c**** Wigan. Fatheed Bruce should be investigated
Jim D Posted January 14, 2009 Author Posted January 14, 2009 Pathetic defending by Wigan, they are 1-0 up inside 50 seconds. Bending over big style.
CarraLegend Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 This was obvious so not really arsed, a defence containing Melchiot and Bramble is never going to get a result at OT. Hopefully Bolton can do something on the weekend though, they occasionally have a good game against a top team and with 2 defenders out it might disrupt the filth defending the hoof balls.
CarraLegend Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Rooney crocked Hopefully he's out for life.
Jim D Posted January 14, 2009 Author Posted January 14, 2009 (edited) Deep down though I think that shows the difference between ourselves and the Mancs. The Mancs go for it straight from the off, never allowing the opposition to settle into the game. Whereas our plan is to stop them playing first with any attacking intent but allowing them to settle defensively. Then we struggle for the next half hour to break them down. Sometimes going for the jugular against teams is the best option, instead of playing the waiting game and trying to strike with one opportunity. Hold on Rooney injured here, looks like the hamstring, Tevez coming on. Edited January 14, 2009 by Jim D
Jim D Posted January 14, 2009 Author Posted January 14, 2009 LOL both managers sent off in the Hull v Newcastle game.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 hopefully it sets off a chain reaction in Rooney's body culminating in his diaphragm & he slowly suffocates
Sion Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 injuries for them are about the best we can hope for out of this game
Walrus Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 injuries for them are about the best we can hope for out of this gameWigan will get a point.
