Looks like we've got the LED Advertising boards too.. Looked like it when Football Focus were live from Anfield..

The only thing about electronic advertising boards is they don't give if you slide into them. I've seen players slide off the pitch and hit them and get injured before.

 

Beyond that I don't care about them.

theyre meant to increase a clubs revenue because you can guarantee that adverts will be seen (i.e.: cause they flash up the whole way round for a small amount of time). thats more revenue that doesnt come directly from the fans either. that can only be a good thing surely.

 

the only thing that concerns me is that the idiots that were running our club when those that currently advertise signed up didnt think to stick in a clause to cover an upgrade like this.

Meh, it's clearly a good thing. as well as the ads being seen more, you can sell more advertising space = more money. Pretty crazy that we've waited this long to get them in

They didn't distract my attention from the game. I think it might be a bit more noticeable if they were round the sides of the pitch aswell.

it will be great for the club and they can sell space to foreign companies to make even more money.

 

don't be surprised if you see even more at the new ground, not just at ground level.

 

and if you think they are distracting, wait until the car ads go up with the moving car going all around the boards.

I hate them. I hate them on TV but they are even worse at the match. From the Paddock they are in front of you and down both sides, a constant distraction.

Just watching the replay of yesterdays match on lfctv. Those advertising boards are f***ing gash. The additional revenue they will generate is only relevant if its invested in the squad and not used to pay our major shareholders expenses.
