Bit of a non-issue debating squad numbers, but...

 

Why isn't Skrtel given a lower number say 6. Is that reserved for midfield addition :mischief:

 

Can't help feeling irritated that Voronin has no 10.

 

Ngog's number kind of reveals he is considered a first team player, no?

yeah, No 10 is usually held for the teams more creative/skillfull/headline type of player...

Benayoun has been wearing 15 throughout pre-season and that number is still available.

 

Are you sure these are official?

 

Yossi's shirt number at other clubs was always 15.

He may switch but could've sold a few 11's already?

Am I the only one who has noticed the keepers numbers? Reina is not number 1.... this is complete BS. its bogus.

Never has been. Prefers 25, not 23.

Tommy Smith was a superbly creative player with a fantastic touch on the ball. The fact that he was a hard man too is neither here nor there. Having watched Smith's entire career I can't recall anybody in the same era playing centre-back who was as comfortable on the ball as he was - and that includes the very over-rated Bobby Moore

I assume Barry will be taking the number 6 shirt when he arrives.

 

I also hope than Babel is now given the number 11 shirt and that the number 10 shirt is given to Alonso or Lucas when Voronin leaves.

 

Plus, I'd like to see Martin Skrtel given the number 4 shirt at the start of next season when Sami Hyypia retires/leaves.

Apparently Skrtel is quire superstitious and wants a number 3 somewhere on his shirt
