Another massive game, this time though second leg at their place. Will be interesting to see how we cope there this time.

When we play United could await the winner which is going to be a huge incentive/distraction for us more than Chelsea.

Rafa sure has restored exciting and great times to this club. Take it all in because we could look back on this in ten years and wonder how we took our strength in Europe for granted.

I'm worried about Chelsea. We might even be favorites for the tie, I don't like that one bit. Avram Grant hasn't got much of a clue, which worries me also.

Chelsea have been made favourites for this. Which is good.

Fed up with playing them. I'd suggest they wore grotesque masks to at least provide some sense of uniqueness to the occassion but how would one tell the difference?

It's going to be interesting seeing how the dynamics of the game will change with our home leg coming first.

I'm hoping we can take a decent lead and clean sheet there, because I believe we could drill out a nil-nil. As we all know, it's very very hard to get anything there, a win is a massive task considering they've not been beaten in about 2 years or something.

Its possible that we could win the European Cup by beating Arsenal, then Chelsea, then the Mancs.

Trying not to think about that too much though.

I'd take 4-0 from the first leg

seriously if we can go there with a lead we have a great chance

they don't get beat at their place too often but we could get a draw

have a feeling this will come down to away goals and could go to penalties again

arsenal games were like blood and thunder fa cup games. these games likely to be tight and tense given its a semi final and recent history. i think they will be happy that they can beat us at their place and will try and get an away goal in first leg and then take a 1-1 or 2-1 defeat back to london

Cech isn't likely to be back & Cudicini did his hammy last night. We just need to knack Hilario early & then they've got to put some bairn in goal

They don't have anyone else registered with UEFA so they're going ot have to sign someone on loan.

My Chelsea mate says they haven't lost a league game at Stamford Bridge since Feb 04. Last time they lost at home was against Barca a couple of years ago, so you're spot on about them not losing too often at home, I'm afraid.

We'll beat them, mind.

UEFA have given them permission to get in an emergency loan

As a suggestion to Grant and how to get those fvckin moronic fans on his side, I suggest he recalls Peter "The Cat" Bonetti.

Well this chelsea tie is going to be interesting: its the wrong way round for a start and they dont concede much at the bridge. Whats even more interesting is the Chelsea players are trying to remain calm and focussed about it, not talk of revenge etc.

I think the best we can hope for is a 0-0 or win at home (without conceding) and then see what happens

Bit worried about this, hopefully the league will take its toll on them and not us

So Buffon will be spending spring in West London...

FFS, they have a keeper and kids. w*****s.

Presumably Cech will be fit but if he isn't who's likely to be available if they do try and bring someone in on loan? Dudek? Don't think he's played in the CL this year has he?

Its all the wrong way around. Second leg on a Wednesday, on Sky, at Stamford Bridge.

Still, time to beat them at their place.

I dont think they league will take its toll on them as suggestion, they are a machine just like us in terms of fitness and durability.

There have been 6 CL games between us (2 Semi's and the group games).

3 were 0-0

3 were 1-0

Wont be much either way in this - cue 4-3 at Anfield

Please note, Fernando Torres did not play in any of the above games.

They have got the league game against Man Utd between the two legs which might be a distraction.
