Sir Tokyo Sexwale
Just had a heads up from my mate - who works for DIC - as he's off to the game. And he's not a footy fan, he's an acquisition guy

Guest Phil Eel
surely after tonights performance G&H wont be selling anytime soon. Gillett's agreed to sell to DIC- all that about him buying shares is a smokescreen. Hicks will have to sell before July when a big payment is due. DIC know it, they sit and they wait - and it's gonna happen Mark my words !!

jon_hall
Joke or for real? Well if DIC were there, and Hicks has been to both away games in a week and doesn't turn up, but Gillett does after being supposedly stuck in the US, it does strike as being a bit strange. ali
any sign of Hicks' good news announcement? probably still locked up in his bunker, burbling over the 1-8 loss, hopefully they've thrown away the key - Notes:@ Texas is 18-19 in home openers, and 6-9 at Rangers Ballpark. ... This is Baltimore's best start since going 7-1 in 1998. ... Rangers owner Tom Hicks left his field-level seats in the top of the third inning, only minutes before the start of Liverpool's game against Arsenal in the European Champions League. Hicks owns the Liverpool squad, and retreated to his bunker suite to watch that game, though it was still on the television he has at his field seat. HL5
So, where DIC representatives actually there last night, and if so, any further news? Just got up with a cracking headache and wondered what happened last night, then I remembered! What a night! Anyway, back to hoping DIC would conclude the deal very soon.
