Unfortunately that is the two-faced media for you, the equation is simple in their terms:

its simple,dont read the tabloids, and only put sky on at kick off, turn it off for its s**** half time punditry, then turn it back on for the second half, thats what i do

Ah, but one must remember the Gerrard position debate. Any time there are three central midfielders, they argue that he's playing on the right side, he won't be happy with it, Rafa is ruining him and should be sacked.

 

When McClaren does it, he's accommodating Gerrard and Lampard in the same side and is the second coming of Sir Alf Ramsey.

Had to laugh at Tim Sherwood who was trying to point out that when Houllier was here, we only had 3 world class players in Gerrard, Owen and Carragher.

 

But now, we are no further forward and still only have 3..stutters a bit...world class outfield players in Gerrard, Carragher and Torres (thats 4 to me and you when you include Reina).

 

I think he forgot to mention that Carra wasnt considered world class under Houllier when he was being switched from LB to RB and back again. Also, I'll leave aside Mascherano as he has only just officially become ours.

Its sad but a lot of non liverpool fans/ pundits don't consider Reina as world class!
