My nephew is doing a project in school about some of the best players of recent times, does anyone know any good sites to get a good history of players from say, the 60s onwards.

Stuff from their childhood and career, facts figures etc ??

Tell him to check the Wikipedia pages for the various players and check where the information is sourced from. Those little [1] references should link to more sites about them and there will be links at the bottom of some pages for more info about the player too.

ask Kaizer....

He's not doing a maths exam.

P.S. Don't forget the Priory - they know some good stuff.

It's a bit dense, but it's the most ridiculously comprehensive statistical site I've seen: http://www.rsssf.com/

Just click on the link 'Guide To The Contents', for Kaizer-esque statto-ness.

Another great site for stats is this one.

The Result Bible

Is that a work of fiction, too ?

Haha, not really, when it comes to finding earlier results, head to head etc its a superb tool, its in Norwegian I know but it should be possible to use it for everybody.
