Redkop Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 SSN I can only see this being the usual Liverpool-United stuff, which means basically a good old scrap! He's forgetting last year when ManU lay down and rolled over as they were played off the park.
baz2107 Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 unfortunately Lawrenson has tipped us to win Le Tissier is a tosser not in Mersons bracket but still a tosser.
Hieronymus Bosch Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 "He was put in his place as well by George Gillett - and I don't blame the American. Rafa wanted more money to spend, but let's be honest here, has he not had enough already? It was right that the manager was told to get on with matters on the pitch - especially with such big games coming up." Don't you just hate the way what started as gossip has been played out so many times by the media that first fans and now even pundits take it as irrefutable fact. And, as such, these "experts", who form their opinions, like most other punters, from what they read in the newspapers, somehow end up giving these rumours even more credence...
Rimbeux Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 unfortunately Lawrenson has tipped us to win Le Tissier is a tosser not in Mersons bracket but still a tosser. Fits in the the desired pitch I suppose. Keep it light, keep it 'entertaining' full of bonhomie and nothing too complicated or far away from man in the pub opinions, and if you dont understand it, just say so. Notice they try and get weightier with the CL coverage

Aye, that perception really winds me up
Guest Ant Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Why does everyone seem to think it's cool to hate ANY pundit that has something against Liverpool, or says something, someone doesn't agree with. It's seriously tedious....
The_Adder Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Why does everyone seem to think it's cool to hate ANY pundit that has something against Liverpool, or says something, someone doesn't agree with. It's seriously tedious.... Is it cause they are all motherf*****s?
Cobs Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Why does everyone seem to think it's cool to hate ANY pundit that has something against Liverpool, or says something, someone doesn't agree with. It's seriously tedious....THEY ALL HATE US !
Guest Ant Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Is it cause they are all motherf*****s? Not really, maybe they nver played for Liverpool or had a close affinity with the fans. Look at Garry Macca and Phil Thompson, compare them with Hansen and Lawro. Bah!
John am Rhein Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Why does everyone seem to think it's cool to hate ANY pundit that has something against Liverpool, or says something, someone doesn't agree with. It's seriously tedious.... Who says it's cool? It's our siege mentality!
Guest Ant Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Who says it's cool? It's our siege mentality! More like show your proper 'arl a*** RTK mentality. There's a conspiracy I tell thee....
John am Rhein Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 There's a conspiracy I tell thee.... If there isn't then there should be
Bigal Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 It's seriously tedious.... as tedious as people mentioning the rotation of torres for 2 games
Guest Ant Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 as tedious as people mentioning the rotation of torres for 2 games Feck off
Guest Ant Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 and correcting spelling? Ah thats another one.
Hassony Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Why does everyone seem to think it's cool to hate ANY pundit that has something against Liverpool, or says something, someone doesn't agree with. It's seriously tedious.... People get annoyed when these "pundits" talk rubbish and use gossip as facts to back up their points, its not about "hating liverpool". How does the likes of Le tissier, Merson, Claridge ...etc know anything about what Rafa demanded from the board ?
John am Rhein Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Ah thats another one. you need an apostraphe between 'that' and 's' the 's' is a contraction of the English word 'is', you see
Guest Ant Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 you need an apostraphe between 'that' and 's' the 's' is a contraction of the English word 'is', you see I know you do, but forgive me for being lazy and not checking over my own posts. I'm pathetic like that.
Des Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 There's a conspiracy I tell thee.... The Kaiser Chiefs have a lot to answer for.
Cobs Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 you need an apostraphe between 'that' and 's''apostrophe' HTH
Hieronymus Bosch Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 (edited) Why does everyone seem to think it's cool to hate ANY pundit that has something against Liverpool, or says something, someone doesn't agree with. It's seriously tedious....But when the vast majority regularly spout uninformed schit (Gray, Nicholas, Merson, Lawrenson, Wright, McQueen, Crooks, Claridge, Hoddle, Wilkins, Redknapp, Souness, Francis, Burley, Kamara, Gale, Marwood, Smith, Earle, Le Tissier, Platt, Dunphy off the top of my head), it's reasonable to groan about it. Why are there so few knowledgeable, interesting, articulate pundits out there? Surely the broadcasters who hire them would benefit as a result... Edited December 14, 2007 by mrshah

It's seriously tedious.... Agreed. Plus it's always said, "how the f*ck do they know what's going on?". They may not know everything but it's a reasonably good bet that they'll have contacts in the game far superior to most people on an internet forum who seem to think they know everything as clearly as if they'd been sat in the board room listening.
