Such as the tale from his United days about going to swap shirts on the night that Real Madrid came to Old Trafford. He thought a Zidane, Figo or Roberto Carlos jersey would make a nice memento. He knocked on the away team’s dressing-room door, handed over his shirt to a kitman and waited patiently. Five minutes later his shirt was thrust back out. No one wanted it.

Just imagine his massive hideous face.

I thought he came across pretty well in the interview.

Also, shows that Real Madrid really are a bunch of f***ing w***ers

thats a pity one of those jerseys would have looked nice in his wee memento room...he'll just have to do with his 6 league medals, 1 CL medal and 3 FA cup medals.

Is that all????

It's a bit weird that you'd pick that passage out of an article that is basically about his daughters cerebal palsy and choose to ridicule him about it.

Plus it loses its comic value when the guy you're taking the piss out of is the one that told the story in the first place.

There was nothing else in the article to ridicule him about.
