Guest Ant Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 When he argues with someone who was obviously in the right. Javier went for a shot 5 minutes before the end, well wide, Carra has a rant at him but Javier was pointing out no one was infront of him, which was true. Carra has been piss poor this season, the bad form has taken effect of him and he is looking absolutely f***ed after 20 minutes. I got a lift to College off a Bluenose mate of mine and he was saying how Carra has been dragging players to the ground, saying it's a sign of 'losing it'. I am starting to agree, and I like everyone else f***ing love Carra
Jim D Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Personally feel its more to do with not having Agger beside him, Carragher has looked totally out of sorts since Sami has come back in the side. So it looks like it is more of a "partnership" type of thing rather than an "individual" thing.
Hassony Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 tobe fair to him he is feeling the effect of playing with hyypia should be better whenagger comesback i was glad that mascherano told him to f*** off btw
CaptainXabi Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 i was glad that mascherano told him to f*** off btwMe too. Masch is ace.
Guest Ant Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 i was glad that mascherano told him to f*** off btw Same here
Guest SpiritualWarrier Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Carra is covering Sami more and more, Riise all the time and Finnan every now and then. No wonder he looks knackered. Would you rather see a Liverpool defence without Carra ? No thought not.
miceal Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 (edited) It might comfort people to think that Carra's problem is other people (the post above manages to blame every other defensive player) but the truth is he's part of the problem. I'm going to look for a bookie that give odds on him conceding penalties. Because there's one coming round again, very soon. Edited November 3, 2007 by miceal
Rimbeux Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 There was a time 2nd half where there was a loosish ball from Masch I think that fell between him and Momo, about half the way line that he ran up to and lashed out of play with no oppo in spit of him, then proceeded to scream at Masch about the pass. Fine it was a s*** pass, but booting it out like it was a bomb when under no real pressure sums up how he is right now, really on the edge, lacking in belief and composure. There was a moment in the last quarter where he ran the ball back, dummied the striker in classic style and brought the ball away that hopefully shows the composed Carra will win out.
Guest SpiritualWarrier Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Sorry, but any criticism of Carra is bang out of order.
Rimbeux Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Sorry, but any criticism of Carra is bang out of order. Why? He playing with panic and it spreads. He's not taking responsibility when using the ball, and is riding his luck defensively. He needs to sort himself out and bring back some composure and leadership forward (no not shouting). Simply saying it's other players fault doesn't cut it and wont solve it.

Guz Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Carra is covering Sami more and more, Riise all the time and Finnan every now and then. No wonder he looks knackered. He doesnt look knackered, he looks like a Derby County defender. Just because he's Carra doesnt mean he has to play a blinder every game, all the time. He hoofs everything that comes near him and his being lucky that his errors in the box aren't being punished by the opposition. He's playing s***. Blaming someone else sums us up at the moment because the only player who looks like taking any responsibility for his performance seems to be Gerrard and thats been a very recent turn around.
Mike S Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 didn't think he was as bad today as he has been recently. In fact the whole defence played ok
Rimbeux Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Playing with a player passed his best and a one-footed s*** bag would panic the calmest of players. He's played with them loads before and been fine, been brilliant, it's him, maybe his reaction to the situation but it's down to him.
Boca Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 It's good to see Masch getting to grips with the language.
Andy-oh-six Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 He is really missing Agger but I don't think he is the worst player on the pitch at the moment.
Rimbeux Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 didn't think he was as bad today as he has been recently. In fact the whole defence played ok Defending was fine, but just as we have a collective responsibility to defend as a team, also we have one to use the ball and play with authority. I just think we've been lacking that, and Carra really aint bringing a calming influence. Trace things back to the moment in the first few seconds at Porto where Finnan (Steve Finnan of all people!!) gets caught with the ball and they get close, panic spreads and we barely recover. Certain players can really affect the attitude, Carra is one.

At least that part of his game is coming back.

deacon Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 I can't believe what I'm hearing. you're talking out of your a***
mathewbet1 Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 maybe the time to sissoko to realise his promise as centre half, this in rafas plans - FACT
BG Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Anyone who's watched more than about five minutes of football can see that the main problem we have at the back is that Sami, unfortunately, is way over the hill. He was awful today, especially in the second half.
floyd the barber Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 he was awful when agger was playing at the begining of the season (regardless of the clean sheets)...he also started last season poorly......and forgive me if im wrong, but never in the past did he used to hoof it forward to no one in particular 99% of the time....hes well out of sorts and id rather drop carra than hyypia at the mo
Nerik Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 I actually think that Masch (who had a great game by the way) made the wrong decision when he decided to shoot. At that time we were getting into the Blackburn box with ease and whilst he tried his luck it was always going to be hard to score from there and it basically gave Blackburn a breather and possession.
