The intensity is something we haven't had since the 80's. Veronin on for a few minutes today scoring and chasing after everything. We finally have group of strikers who are hungry and want to prove themselves. I seriously tyhink this squad will challenge for the league all the way.

There is a different intensity and desire about the whole squad this season.

 

Having no Carra or SG and with Crouch not in the 16, we still had a bench of outfield players Riise, Benayoun, Momo and Voronin. All very impressive.

Aye, the way we are pressing the ball is very encouraging. This is also the strongest, technically skilled squad we've had for a very long time, with so many options in the squad for any situation.

Love how Torres and Voronin were closing down and making slide tackles as if their lives depended on it even at the dying seconds. Love how Rafa put on another striker and make it 4-3-3 when we were so many goals up. Love how the team never stopped and continue to press for more goals, when in previous seasons we would've just been content with the result

I Agree, Rafa's Valencia team was known as the crushers in Spain, never giving the opponents a second, pressing all over the pitch, fast short passes mixed with accurate long passes.

 

This could easily be Liverpool this season, really great to see.

We had Carra, SG and Crouchy out today.. a third of the backbone of the team ! We are top of the table - CL league table rounds - what more do you want??

That was the most complete team performance I've seen from a Reds team in a long time. And the drive! Even for the last corner when 6-0 up, all the players where up the field and wanting it. Pride!
