Guest spk Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 link ... McClaren fails in Carragher bid good lad... f***er made his bed ¬¬
ManxRed Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Why is he so keen to persuade Carragher to come out of 'retirement' when he has the likes of Wes Brown and Titus Bramble ahead of Carragher in the selection order anyway? I'm confused.
Archangel Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Wise decision by Jamie under the circumstances and a brave one too considering the flak he's had I've absolutely no problem with England FC but Jamie frankly deserved better
Cobs Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 he's done right in sticking to his guns, matter of time before McClaren fecked him about again
Stanley Leisure Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 he's done right in sticking to his guns, matter of time before McClaren fecked him about again Precsisely - think Mclaren is aware that his job is on the line if England get bad results in the next few games - Carra may have helped that but would have been jibbed off again afterwards. It's good - more Carra for us.
Guest RedIsMyColour Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Good Move Carra! He's too good to play second fiddle and be used.
IgPig Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Sure he's happy at his decision to put King and Woodgate in front of Carra now they are injured again. You made your bed, Ginge.
floyd Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 So, Carra anounces he's not playing for SCS anymore weeks ago, and SCS does nothing about it then. But now the Manc cvnt has got injuries he's saying to Carra don't quit. Why didn't he make the effort weeks ago?SCS will be sacked in 3 - 4 months, as the cvnt is a fraud and England will not qualify for Euro 2008. Woolnough, Samuel, McCarthy etc will be be in for the time of their lives.
The Hitman Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 The right decision,Carra. We know how good you are, even if idiots like McClaren don't.Stick to your guns, and you'll be playing for us well into your mid-30s.
Woodsyla Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Wise decision by Jamie under the circumstances and a brave one too considering the flak he's had I've absolutely no problem with England FC but Jamie frankly deserved better Agreed, being behind Ledley King at CB and being left out in favour of Wes Brown at RB is not befitting of a player as good as Carra. Without Looney SCS could well get himself sacked in the next few months and Carra may decide to come out of retirement if England hire a football manager this time round. Is Scolari still available ?

Earl Hafler Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 link ... McClaren fails in Carragher bid good lad... f***er made his bed ¬¬ Only after the maid decided not to... "Unfortunately Jamie stayed with the decision to not be involved with us." No - not be involved with you, you charlatan. And Beckham fit for England ? t***. I bet Galaxy love that.

England do better without Rooney. Kaizer e-mailed his stats in to Sky yesterday and they were featured on SSN.
kacangpool Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 Good lad Carra. And I hope Benayoun scores against England in the qualifiers, enough for Israel to win. That'd be the icing on the cake.
Mike Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 if maclaren gets sacked i expect jamie to to play for england again if asked.
Stevie H Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 if maclaren gets sacked i expect jamie to to play for england again if asked.depends who replaces mclaren surely? if the new bloke still considered carra to be fifth choice behind terry, ferdinand, woodgate and king then it's hardly worth his while.
sean Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 depends who replaces mclaren surely? if the new bloke still considered carra to be fifth choice behind terry, ferdinand, woodgate and king then it's hardly worth his while. Wor Jackie'd pick him every game.

floyd Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 depends who replaces mclaren surely?FV would be a shoe-in.
Stevie H Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 theres the face saving aspect to it though. hed have looked daft if he backed down to SCS.oh aye, no way he'd go back to mclaren. but going back under a new man would still make him look a bit daft having said he's done it to prolong his liverpool career.
