Just signed up for the e-season ticket, f*** me there is some good stuff in there.

Signed up primarilry to see the extended 40 minutes highlights but theres a mountain of stuff in there to bring the memories flooding back - absolutely fantastic!

that Dalglish clip on the 100 days is brilliant.

I actually cancelled my e-season this year as I found it useless - the torres press conference wasn't even live on it and most of the content in it is all on youtube anyway.

The new TV channel at the end of next month will cover probably everything that's on it.

The streaming on the site NEVER worked properly for me live

used to love the e-season...especially with living in the states...

though that was 3 seasons ago......now with setanta and fox soccer channel covering every live game, and of course "you tube" for behind the scenes stuff...

Hello Rick Parry

I like it as well though. The Rafa interviews and highlights from the ressies' matches are the main points for myself.

reluctantly signed up again after a few years objection. no improvement.

websites and their content should be by definition, cross-platform. only idiots make a site and serve media that not every web browser and system can play back. viewing on anything other than windows and you're getting a reduced service with it, which is needless and pathetic.

I subscribed to the service for a few (2 or 3) seasons, but got bored with it. And frankly I did not miss it at all last season.

I was hoping to hear about some improvements in this thread, but judging by the comments here, there aren't any. I didn't find it particularly reliable technically, although the 100 PWSTK was great! I especially loved to watch those clips of old heroes of mine and other highlights from the 70's and 80's, but in the end there wasn't enough interesting content in my opinion.

Nah, Apple Macs are needless and pathetic ;)

Didn't know that was the case... are Macs limited to Quicktime playback only?

Only reason I have it is to enter the ticket lottery.

Any joy ever?

I think it's pretty good myself, and the streaming highlights are very good quality compared to how they were. Plus youtube's coming down hard on footy highlights this season by the looks of it.

I've won three times out of about 40 attempts over the last three years. Chelsea this weekend being one, unbelievably!

Using OSX? Download flip4mac. :)

But I still agree with you.

I'm confused... I used a Mac Laptop to follow eSeason highlights for Saturday's game no problem?

And it's supposed to be getting the same content as the new TV channel so should become vastly more worthwhile then.

It's only £40 a year though, that's worth it for just the ressie's highlights and the 'proper' highlights when we aren't on live and MOTD gives us a 'goals only' outing.

For the amount that they charge, and the fact that it's another way of supporting our club, I'm happpy to carry on subscribing even though I find myself using it less and less. Still very handy for seeing reserve highlights and the odd live youth cup game though...

Edit: they should keep Phil Neal away from the commentary box. Great player, absolute gimp of a co-commentator.

I have it just for the match highlights really and I think it's decent value for that. Didn't know about this ticket lottery thing though - will have to look into that!

I use it. Mainly for preseason matches that aren't live on the tv here in the US.

If I record a match much better to listen to Steve Hunter than the commentary on tv. Usually radio commentary, like e-season ticket, paints a much better picture of the match because they don't have the pictures to fall back on and talk over with innane chatter that has FA to do with what I want out of coverage.

Plus all the extra highlights of days gone by.

what if you want to watch delayed video of game 'as if live' though?

not easy cos they describe what happens on the caption

needs a competent non-football, non give the score away person to set it up for you and press play and then get the f*** out the room

not easy to find
