Baines v Heinze

174 members have voted

  1. 1. So Everton could be on the verge of signing Baines and Heinze may institute legal proceedings to leave the champions and join the mighty boys in Red. Now which would you rather have? Who would you rather piss off? Blues or Mancs, Moyes or Ferguson and, of course - though utterly secondary, which would be the better option?

    • Neither. I'd rather we signed someone else or no one at all. This is the humourless b*****d option.

Think Ferguson's reaction wold be funnier but I always prefer winding Blues up about this sort of thing as it worms away in their soul. Plus United supporters know Heinze's going whereas Blues hope Baines is coming.

Sissoko - been there, done that. Time to get at Fergie!

Winding up ferguson is a short cut to winding up moyes anyway. Mancantonian tw*t will have a go at us regardless of whether its baines or heinze that we sign, so I'll go for Heinze for a win double.

Everton are always pissed off with us, so deserving it wouldn't make much difference. Heinze would be better, although we don't even have to sign him to do that.

Baines is the better player and i'm not bitter enough to want a worse player just to piss United off. Some obviously are.

Question was which would be funnier.

Can't see us getting Heinze without the Mancs engaging in some sort of face saving exercise (ie we pay an extra premium, or at least they claim we do). Basically don't see them getting any more annoyed with the whole thing than they currently are.

So my vote is piss off the bitters. Baines it is.

:D Class poll.

Heinze for me, because of the (almost unprecedented) direct-thievery and the brilliant purple comedy of apoplexy. Just can't muster the same unmercilessness for Everton as a local can, and as mentioned above, they would be more than happy to excite themselves from the docile hatred that is pretty much their permanent and comfortable state into a short-lived spike of the usual embarrassing mini-fury.

Has to be high-flying Premiership champions Manchester "everybody wants to sign for Manchester United" United, coq of the walq. Everton are prone and drunk and slightly masochistic; the small-time choice.

I hate Everton.

Anything to piss off those c***s.

Sign Arteta and Cahill and get them to clean the bogs.

we could wind both up, we could fail heinze on a medical and send him back to Fergie and then buy Baines

Was going to say exactly the same thing - get the legal right to sign Heinze proved, then reject him on medical grounds that he's slower than setting cement nowadays, and send him back, just as the transfer window closes - Fergie could never pick him again after he's so vocally expressed a desire to leave and come to us. That situation could only get funnier if Evra tore a hamstring on the first day of the season, leaving them with only Heinze for that position too. :D

Baines is English, young and has scored from a free-kick. Therefore, all the c***s in the world think he is ten times a better player than he actually is

The funniest thing would be to get Zambrotta, I cant see any fun in getting either Baines or Heinze since both are average, I went for the humourless b*****d option. ;)

How about letting Ferguson get one up on us with Heinze and then stealing Carlos "I consider him our player already" Tevez from under his purple nose at the 11th hour. Now that would be sweet! :mischief:
