Not saying too much. Just starting a debate. we all dream of a Liverpool team playing like Valencia did back in the days when they killed us. Well seeing Torres and Babel and Benni, I must say. Now finally we have players capable beating their opponents, with ease. Lovelly to see.

Torres and Babel in particular can take on players. Something we haven't seen here since, well McManaman?

I really like the new players, and although Torres just missed two sitters as I write this, he had a drible earlier that proved my point. Front towards the goals, beating his opponent. Lovely. Oh and Voro is king...

We've just got more intelligence and ability in the final third now. Torres may have missed a couple but his movement and pace to get into those positions was excellent and you can tell he's very capable.

Benayoun caused a lot of problems by taking up threatening positions and doing the simple things right.

Babel looked raw but very skilful.

Voronin was boss.

I didn't see Torres miss two sitters. I thought he was quite bright to be honest considering this is his first run out.

cant see crouch getting much of a look in by the way.

kuyt appears to be the weakest link so far poor fella. hopefully we'll start to see an improvement over the next few weeks as the new lads adapt.

so far kuyt looks to be continuing on from last season with his inability to consistantly score. regardless of personal preference crouch is and always will be the liverpool player with the best goal return last season.

Lets not set fire to Kuyt just yet considering he's played, what? 70 odd minutes in preseason?

And why must it constantly be a competition between our players? Can we not say that both Kuyt and Crouch are decent and do a good job for the team, without having to justify selling one of them?

Mate "Benni" is not a world class player. He's a handy player who played for a team that should have been relegated last year.
