Paul B Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 I mean, why couldn't they have got to the European cup final when it was held in Glasgow, Manchester or even Paris? Why do they have to get there when it's in bleedin' Istanbul and then Athens? Costing us all a flamin' fortune this is you know!
Paul B Posted May 8, 2007 Author Posted May 8, 2007 Moscow and then Rome! Robbery and violence and violence and robbery! I'm almost tempted to hope Man Utd make one and Chelsea the other.
Maldini Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 UEFA keep choosing s*** stadiums with running tracks, I hate UEFA

As far as I am concerned, a Euro final without at least 4 flights is not worthy of the name
floyd Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 Moscow and then Rome! Robbery and violence and violence and robbery! I'm almost tempted to hope Man Utd make one and Chelsea the other. The only time they should make the final, is if they hold the final on Christmas Island, when they start testing again.
eskton Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 UEFA are committed to go to either Hong kong, singapore or Beijing within 5 years imagine the day trip, it'll cost £3000 go on the monday and come back on the friday
Sion Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 (edited) UEFA are committed to go to either Hong kong, singapore or Beijing within 5 years imagine the day trip, it'll cost £3000 go on the monday and come back on the friday Is that a wind up The European champions league? To be held in the far east? G14 will never agree with that. Edited May 8, 2007 by Sion

As far as I am concerned, a Euro final without at least 4 flights is not worthy of the name You could have yer tea in your own house, get to the game and be back in time for last orders if it was in Manc. Even Glesgae would only be a four hour drive.
anny road Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 You could have yer tea in your own house, get to the game and be back in time for last orders if it was in Manc. Even Glesgae would only be a four hour drive. whats the fun in that?
eskton Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 UEFA do want to take the final to the far east within 5 years. Fact
Paul B Posted May 9, 2007 Author Posted May 9, 2007 whats the fun in that? The fun would be in UNspending the £719 it's just cost us to book TWO NIGHTS in a TWO STAR hotel in the middle of Athens when you could spend that on a week or fortnight somewhere where you might actually want to go. They should call it the cash-in final amd us soft gets are first in the queue to get ripped-off.
Guy_Incognito Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 I have to say I agree. We took 50,000 to Istanbul, can you imagine if it was in Paris? There'd be about 200,000 fecking Scousers there!
