Watching the game last night with a bluenose. We kept referring to tubby as

 

"second best player in the world frank lampard"

 

Bluenose reckons its sounds like someone falling down the stairs rather than an accolade.

According to the morning papers he was Chelsea's 2nd best player after Terry and gets between a 7 and 8 as well???????

 

Watched the game in our bar with loads of different teams supporters, sat by a 70 year old Manc, and when he came to take his penalty he said "I thought he'd gone off in the 2nd half", and he was serious as well.

Thought the ref did well on the whole though. He could have been flashing yellows all over the shop because it was getting a bit aggressive at times but he let it flow. I like Spanish refs

Agree with that. However (and not just with this referee) it gets really frustrating that every time Drogba back into Carra or Agger, Chelsea get the free kick, but when Crouch backs into Terry or Essien/Carvalhio, Chelsea also get the free kick
