I am in leeds this week for my sins....so does anyone know of any decent boozers where I can watch the 5 time European cup winners take on the 2 time European Cup winners?

I went to Uni in Leeds - Headingley is your best bet as it's a much more relaxed atmosphere and you'll be surrounded by tidy student ladies.

Don't agree with there not being any bother in the centre - unless you go to the right places Leeds is full of beauts who want to start a fight with anyone not from Leeds mostly, it was like a running battle half the time.

The Original Oak is the best footy pub for me, they've got a massive beer garden which is quality in the summer and they have a big screen up then although of course that won't be relevant in February, but it's a big pub on two floors with loads of screens anyway.

The Skyrack and Headingley Taps are other good options and all are in fairly close proximity so you can have a look in them all and see which one you fancy...

sportscafe would be your best bet. great atmosphere plus its right in the centre of town. allow you to do a little pre-match warmup in the city centre too. take care.

Was in the Walkabout the weekend Leeds were relegated a few years back, I think it was Bolton who turned them over, but the locals were fantastic. We slaughtered them all day and they took it very well.

TV's at every possible angle.

Bodington Hall bar for me, unless theres a group of you t***s going somewhere better.

Aaah, the memories! Go WHEWELL!!

I went to TASC University College just outside Leeds.

We only had about a 10th of the students Leeds Uni and Leeds Met had but we turned em both over at footy...

If you're in the City Centre, then Sports Cafe.

Atmosphere at the SkyRack in Headingly will be a million times better though.

well then...I went to the sports bar last night and was very disappointed....music blarring out right up to kick off and even during the 1st five minutes of the second half.....the sound was terrible as well....All the tools at their disposal to be a great bar but run by morons....I reckon the walk about is the bar of choice for tonight....is there not any small bars with tv's in Leeds?

Woodie's Ale House. Quality. Further up the Otley Road from Headingley, away from the town centre.

is that the start of the otley run?

Yup. Or end when we were at Bodington, might as well end up plastered near the halls!
