CarraLegend Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 What, you didn't fancy it or what? Thats exactly what I thought straight away. He's a s***house like Ballack.
DonRafa Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 What, you didn't fancy it or what? Aye, I thought that as well. The ugly little t0sser did a 'Ballack'! Thats exactly what I thought straight away. He's a s***house like Ballack. Great minds think alike
reddragon Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 from what Mourinho said afterwards he thinks the same!!
CarraLegend Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Drogba made an incredible recovery from his injury, couldnt of been any longer than a minute into the game and he's rolling around on the floor, then hobbling about and seconds later running after a ball. Magic.
Bootle Buck Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Robben wanted no part of that game from the off and the first sign of an injury and he was gone. lampard had the sam idea but just didn't manage to get injured.
DazzlaJ Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 My Dad is Chelsea and he called it before he went off
dorgie Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Robben is a c**t. Drogba actually made a miniscule climb in my estimation today (from a very low starting base). Nice to see him have a smile with the fans at the kop end when he went sliding into the hoardings there. However, next time I see him celebrting a goal (unless its against the Mancs), i'm sure he'll plummet again.

KD07 Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 He might be the best striker in the league this season, but he's no match for our Carra-Agger.
JRC Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 Whisper it, but I had respect for Drogba when he laid into the others for not tackling back in the last minute or so. Quite right too, they weren't up for it by then. And yes, Robben saw he wasn't going to get anything from Styles, was going to get booed mercilessly, and a tough time from Finnan, so he pulled a sicky. What did Mourinho say, btw?
Tetti Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 I thought he had s*** out when I saw it at the time, but watch the replay and it was a very nasty fall, turned right over on his ankle. Far be it from me to defend the little t*** normally, but having recently suffered a football related ankle sprain, I have some sympathy.
Billy Dane Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 I thought Drogba was their best player, seemed to be the only one putting in any effort. Think Jose said Robben "was a c**t like Schevenko" or something along those lines.
L19red Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 I'd swap Crouch for drogba in a heartbeat. Aside from the overacting, he is a real handful and has shown this seasons he can stick the ball away as well.Robben is a little s***house.
toshi Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 http://football.guardian.co.uk/News_Story/0,,1995829,00.html "I'm not criticising anybody. At the end of December, I gave my opinion as always and I was saying: 'In my opinion, we need two players - a central defender, because we are in this position, and an attacking player. Joe Cole is out for the rest of the season, and also because Robben is injured a lot and, when he's injured, it's never for a small period. It's always for a long time. apparently, Robben signalling twice to the bench asking for replacement before he come of and has to copped with his boss' angered
miceal Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 On the TV you saw Mourinho snap and turn round to SWP and tell him to get on. He was mad as hell with Robben. Drogba has turned into a great stiker and their best player by a street. He's not diving so much, either. But the weirdest thing is, he is the only one they have who plays like he cares for Chelsea, God knows why he should. I have started having a sneaking respect for him. Of all those egos, he is the only one who seems to think it would be a good idea to work his nuts off for all that loot they give them.
johngibo YPC Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 I thought Drogba playes well yesterday. Was easily their best player. Unfortunatly for him Carra was immense

For all his diving (which he is cutting out) and moaning (which can be par for the course for v. competitive players - e.g. Keane), he certainly gives 100%, is not without ability, and yet at heart remains an old-fashioned tough, hard centre forward - and he always seems to enjoy his contests with a tough defender; always chatting, sometimes smiling, seems to give defenders credit when they do well. He and Sami have had some great battles - he terrorised him last year (Sami was ill, though), and muscled him out - not many do that - when he was here with Marseille, whilst Sami had him in his pocket in the CL games - yet the two of them always seemed to slug it out in the best possible way, toe to toe, but lots of mutual respect, almost joking with each other - like boxers. He seemed to be paying the same respect to Jamie on Saturday, which he deserved.

Scary (for Chelsea) that he is the only player who cares about them (John Terry does as well). Doesn't bode well for when we have all that Dubai cash does it? Will the players be playing for the club or the cash? Look at Lucas Neil for an example of this.
Foo Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 What the f***? Didier Drogba is a f***ing b*****d of a player. While much improved this season, I would never ever see him in a red shirt. Like most Chelsea players in that respect.

Essien as well I think, he may be a little twunt, but like Drogba he does work for the team does a far better job than some of their more 'fancy' players. Funny really, all that crying Maurenho did about the defenders he has out, and his best defender by a mile on Saturday was a central midfielder. He put Cole and Ferreira to shame.
ManxRed Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 He still does that imaginary card waving thing though, at every opportunity he gets. The girl.
