By the New Year of last season, we had had 9 opposition players sent off against us

 

This season we have only benefited from 2 dismissals

 

I can't really think of a good reason for this fascinating stat...!

i think last year was a bit of an odd one, we went about 6 games in a row playing 10 men.

We're better off with an 11-man opposition. How many times did we profit from a sending-off last season? Once that I recall and in all the other games, we failed to score once the other team were down to ten men. Keep them on, I say!

Poll could have booked Faye for the challenge, booked him for aggressive behaviour towards an official and then booked him for kicking the ball away - and Faye would have still been on the pitch.

I didn't even see Poll brandish the yellow. It says he was booked but I never saw the yellow card produced.

 

Must have been the extra one he pulled out in the summer.
