havent done one of these in ages, usually because i either get back so bladdered i cant remember the game, or i get back days later and someone else has done it.

anyway, today, i thought we done well today, i know Fulham are s**** and that, but for the first time at home this season, we moved the ball quickly through midfield, we didnt hold play up, it was one touch, pass and move, and we looked dangerous everytime we had the ball today, which is something we havent done in a long time. And Carra scored at Anfield. which is something he hasnt done in a long time.

and it was freezing.

seems we learnt our lesson from portsmouth and moved the ball quickly right from the off

Special thanks to £440,000 and his two mates Nick and Chris who offered to help out with the liver banner at short notice.

carra's face was a picture. it looked like a pre-worked move for the goal, but there was still a tinge of shock in his expression amidst the unrestrained joy. :D

That really was brilliant, I want to get his reaction up on my pc as my wallpaper. Near took the roof of the place.

just watched the 40 minute highlights on liverpoolfc.tv. imo kuyt had a bit of a shocker, missing several chances in the first half though he was always a threat. i was surprised that crouch wasn#t brought on a bit earlier.

pennant seemed to come alive yesterday too ... he missed a sitter in the first half bottling the chance to go one-on-one and head a goal. he seemed to be making a lot of chances.

i liked gonzalez when he came on as well, seemed to do well. I think he'll still be with us next year, just needs some time to toughen up.

other than that the only player of any mention for me is probably agger. fantastic to see the young lad has great qualities both in his defensive and his attacking play. a cracking spot that one

We wouldn't have been there without your help, so it was the least we could do.

Special thanks to Kev as well. Went out of his way to make sure that I got to do a friend a favour.

Second half was fantastic stuff. I think we took our foot off the gas a little after the third goal. It might've been six or seven if we'd really gone for the throat. The fourth goal was important cos it meant players and fans ended game on a high.

Pennant showed some of what it is that made Rafa and many of us want to sign him.

It's amazing how quickly things turn round. Just a couple of weeks ago we were looking as if even attaining European qualification might be beyond us. I still think the title's gone, but if we can keep playing like this and getting results you never know. United, in particular. surely have to slip up sooner or later.

My only regret is that I didn't stay in the pub a while longer.

Reina was his usual brilliant self I see.

Funny how a couple of clean sheets makes his critics disappear...

...in the same way as Uriah made two blatant handballs disappear.

Figaro - sorry, quick off topic question, sorry for hijacking the thread-

How easy is it to get Sevilla tickets? Planning to be in Spain over a weekend with two mates in January, and might take in a game, either Seville or Malaga- can they be had at the gates, or is there a website (in English) that I can order from, etc?

Is there a decent site for fixtures, also?

It's getting increasingly difficult to get tickets legit for sevilla's home games - the 4,000 that go on sale are usually sold the Monday before the wekend game as soon as they go on sale - depends on the rival.

Malaga being in the 2nd division and in deep crisis should be easier.

Sevilla sounds like a no-go, then. Just seen that Betis have Barca at home on the 24th - would that be any easier? We'd be driving up from Malaga and booking a hotel for the night, so ideally I'd like to order tickets on the web beforehand, to be sure.

I was getting worried when it was still 0-0 - wondering if we'd break the deadlock - and I was told "don't worry Kenny (Badtodabone) is there we always win when he goes to games" :D

and it's true

Was a good day - feel a bit rough today

Nice to see Mr. Jonesy back in action and a good time was had by all

:)

you don't want to hear about my journey back. lets just say lots of booze and very little food aren't good for getting you home in one piece. Its a good job I know people who are willing to pick me up from Warrington City centre at 2am!!
