All traveling to Turkey. The dude in goals.

Next up after Wigan is Galatasaray, will you make a lot of changes?

Yes. We will use different players. We are qualified so it's a game we can try to enjoy, though it's clear we want to win. We want to try to play nice football. We have an idea about some of the players. I've talked with Gary Ablett and it's clear that maybe Paul Anderson, Peltier and Guthrie will go. We need to check about the others. Some young players will go and some new players will get an opportunity.

And will Jerzy play?

Yes.

the first teamers could really use a break, so it'll be interesting to see who he takes. i think peltier could start with guthrie in the centre of midfield, but i'm not sure who would then play at right back.

Just think we need a it of experience/composure in CM and maybe give Xabi some match fitness.

it's a nothing game, though, and if he gets injured again we'll be struggling. not worth the risk.

hopefully gala will play a load of kids too.

i didn't mean el zhar will play in xabi's position. he should get a run out though after getting a bit of first team action against pompey.

not sure carra will be risked either.

Doesn't sound like a very good idea to field youngsters away at Galatasaray, but what do I know.

Well it won't be just youngsters. With Jerzy playing, most likely Sami, Fowler, Warnock or Aurelio (if either are fit) at least I suspect....Some others as well.

So there's no better place to play a few youngsters like Peltier, Paletta and Guthrie, and no beter place to stick Pennant back in to try and get him out of this funk! No great pressure on them, and Gala aren't playing at the Al Sami Yen stadium. The atmos won't be quite the same! It should be a great experience for 'em regardless.

Seems like the perfect time to me, a no pressure match against a team who also have f*** all else to play for.

why? it's the perfect opportunity. it's not often we get a nothing match in the cl and the chance to give some good up and coming kids some big game experience. we'll soon find out which of these lads have the maturity to make the step up. and i'm sure gala will play a much weakend side also.
