Guest Kev Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 The worst away scoring record not just in the Premiership, but in all of the Football League and Conference.

Herbie von Smalls Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 if we hadn't qualified top of our champions league group i'd be really worried.
Nebraska Red Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 samaritans, sombody call the samaritans.
Bootle Buck Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 Just glanced at it myself and it resembles the Scottish Premier League.
Guest Cameron Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 How could the league season have gone so wrong when everything looked so promising? Very hard to take this. But if we end up winning the CL again, I won't complain where we end up in the league. So long as it isn't in the bottom half.

I think Europe will be beyond us at the moment, a total change on the pitch is what is required before we can even look in that direction.

Chili Palmer Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 At least we are the best at something!
Internationinteroperability Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 Why is the CL impossible? We won it with loads of second rate players (no offence) AND we played poorly in the league at that time too! We've won our group convincingly. Keep up the faith here! Where's Andy when he's needed? PS: Kev, why didn't you make this a "NEWS LATEST" ???

PS: Kev, why didn't you make this a "NEWS LATEST" ??? Even I can't pretend that we were anything other than f***ing woeful last night. We need a proper captain that can lift everyone - Gerrard is a very good player - but he's not a captain - he can't drive people on and lift peoples games. Edited November 30, 2006 by Andy
_00_deathscar Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 WE'RE GOING TO WIN THE f***ING LEAGUE AYE!

jon_hall Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 Trust me. Do you have two nuclear bombs to set off at two grounds? If not nah i can't
Guest Kev Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 See, a bit of constructive criticism/realisation can go a long way
Andy @ Allerton Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 See, a bit of constructive criticism/realisation can go a long way Gerrard actually looked like a captain as well About f***ing time
Mad_Fer_It Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 the premiership table looks a lot better right now...were in the top of the pack, i think 3rd 4th finish is a strong possibility... Finishing 2nd or 1st isnt impossible but its not something we should think of at the moment.Hope this Wigan performance is the catalyst for a good unbeaten run...
Guz Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 3rd is a very strong possibility. Arsenal have similar problems to us on the road and still have to travel to us and Chelsea.
Mad_Fer_It Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 i think arsenal is this years chelsea for us, were going to meet them at least 4 times this season...
dorgie Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Crikey...we've had 8 clean sheets out of the last 9 games in all competitions........that's impressive by any standards.
stressederic Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 I don't think it should be overlooked that we have recently risen above a certain near neighbour of ours. I didn't even notice until today.
Figaro Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 For all the doom and gloom on here over the past weeks and, up to now, terrible away record we are challenging for a CL spot and Chelsea, Arsenal and the Mancs all have to play at Anfield. Also bear in mind that we have played all the so-called "killer" away games. It can only get better. Reina is brilliant. Gerrard is finding his form slowly but surely and Bellamy can now concentrate on what he does best. We played some very good football on Saturday. Where are the pessimists now?
Tosh Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 I don't think it should be overlooked that we have recently risen above a certain near neighbour of ours. I didn't even notice until today. yep, above Wigan, bolton AND Man Citeh
Siang Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 nurse NURSE another one has escaped A 2nd one just escaped as well... I m with "Deathscar" on this one..winning no. 19 This season is going to be one hell of a roller coaster ride...
