Have to agree with the post

From the team of Macs to Shanklys signings, the three Jocks and Gary Mac.

Number 19 will only come when a scotsman wears the red shirt again, ye hear it here first (well, sort of).

(I have been expecting Bob Wright to highlight this for some time)

Slightly off topic but I had to laugh at the Celtic song for him last night.

...He eats chow mein

and votes Sinn Fein..

We should swap Gerrard for Darren Fletcher.

It'd make all the difference I'm sure.

Unfortunately there aren't too many good Scots around anymore. Hence the reason they never qualify for the European Champoionships or the WC. Back in our heyday the league was loaded with great Scots.

When you think of the 60's and 70's it was amazing just how many great Scottish players there were in the league. Now we have the likes of Darren Fletcher.

isn't there a 16 year old Scotish lad a few teams are looking at? Can't remember who he plays for.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is keen on signing 16-year-old Hamilton Academical star Jamie McCarthy. The attacking midfielder is a first team regular in the Scottish first division and Aston Villa, Bolton and Rangers are also showing an interest. (Daily Mirror)

that lad?

They produced a few reasonable managers as well.

Won an empire.....

Blame Thatcher ;)

The Team of the Macs wasn't entirely Scottish, but the thing that made it fantastic was the one non-Scot on it had a 'Mac-' surname anyway.

Absolutely. Except when we didn't.

But I too think that getting a Jock in will sort our problems out - destiny and all that

The thing that made it fantastic was it represented Liverpool Football Club.
