Jamie Redknapp

I have to say that Jamie Redknapp is getting right up my goat. He was a great player for us when he was fit but as a pundit he can't get any further up Mourinho's backside. How he can say that Chelsea deserved to win yesterday and to say that Lampard's ball into Drogba for the goal was a brillant ball I don't know. It was a punt which Frank seems to do quite a lot.

Lampard's cousin.

Alan Smith (co commentator) annoyed me more, he was so biased towards Chelsea it was untrue. Trying to make out that Ballack was 'just a little late' when stamping on Momo was the icing on the cake.

Sky are all c****.

What the f*ck was Gray going on about there?

"I wonder what would happen if Gerrard went up to Benitez and said either you play me CM or I won't play."

What a load of sh*te.

never heard that one.... what a t***...

I love all this Gerrard will leave crap if we don't win the league.... have they looked at Rooney at the Mancs? Hes won two trophies, a carling cup (Mickey Mouse Cup - according to Manc fans when we won it) and a trophy when he was 13 and playing at Everton.... why does it never get mentioned that he might be looking to move on? Its always Gerrard... My Manc mate asked me if Gerrard will get fooked off and leave this morning.. Told him bluntly to worry about his own team before thinking of ours. The minute they play a decent team this season they get beat.....

He seems a bit of a knob on that show

Which is sad cos I think he's a sound lad and always respected him as a player

What pissed me off the most was how Smith i think it was didn't shut up for ten minutes about how it would have been one nil early on if Agger didn't make that clearence and sayin we got lucky then... totally ignoring the fact it was a foul and even if one of the chavs had scored it wouldn't have even counted. What an Ar*e

Smith was terrible yesterday, even worse than Tony Gale when we played West Ham. At one point, he appeared to be saying that the penalty incident with Lampard / Gerrard was no big deal because the ref hadn't seen it.

And Ballack - he's apologised for the stamp. So why was he on the pitch arguing with the ref ages after being shown the red card ?

Yep he was rubbish

What annoyed me more was he kept siding immediately with the Chelsea players - then saying "Yep you can see..." and watching the replay show the opposite he would lamely complete his sentence - even though he made it obvious he knew it wasn't true..

Yeah made me laugh that - they're supposed to be commentating on the game and you could hear the ref blowing and blowing again

How the f*** can it be a fantastic clearance and 'Liverpool were lucky there' when it was a f***ing foul?!

They haven't got a clue.

Redknapp's sucking up to Keane before the Manc game was embarrasing.

"Roy this, Roy that, Roy and Scholsey were so good I weed my pants at the thought of playing against them"

Thank God we do not get the Sky commentary here. We had Pleat commentating and whilst he can be annoying he was very complimentary towards us.

One thing that did amuse me yesterday was when Riley produced the red card and the main commentator was convinced it was for Sissoko.

He was all excited, only for Smith to point out that it was a straight red for Ballack.

Pleat comes out with some howlers, but he generally doesn't look to stir s*** like so many of them. He's about the best regular TV co-commentator around these days, which is saying something.

Smith was atrocious yeaterday. It couldn't have been more biased if it had been on Chelsea TV (if such a thing exists).

Big nose said both Drogba and Robben were "honest players"! Two of the biggest divers and moaners and he thinks they're honest.

Still, what would he know about it? He never touched the ball from an indirect free kick at Anfield in 1989 but to this day claims the goal.

yup, comical that. as was sky's insistence that it had been a s**** game until drogba's goal 'illuminated' it. i thought it was a damned interesting game up until that point personally.

I like Pleat, he doesn't seem to show any bias.

The commentary on Sky is starting to really annoy me. I never listen to the pre/half time/post match stuff because I know I'll end up smashing the telly.

I've never used the red button gubbin's but I think you can get crowd noise on that instead of commentary, so next time I'll either be listening to that or putting 5 live on.

Its not so much any percieved bias, its more that they really do not know what they are talking about. Its ignorance and it spoils watching the match.

Ian Darke is a s*** c*** and should be shot for simply being so incredibly bad at his job.

And again, it's a Darke problem. He's the personification of why football coverage is so bad at all levels. He hardly comprehends the game. I'd be fuming if I got stuck next to him at the match, nevermind it being his job.

Speaking of s**** "pundits" I was reading Teletext earlier and couldn't help but notice that useless TV dullard Bob Mills, in his regular column, has declared that the top 3 this season is a "no-brainer" already and will definitely consist of Chelsea, Man Utd and Arsenal.

He's from Chester?!

Hahaha! I would've put my house on him being a true cockerneeey geeeezaaaa, had someone offered me a bet. What a t***. My Mum's side of the family were originally from London and none of them have such an archetypal accent ala Mills. He's carefully cultivated that one, obviously.

Yes I kid you not. I remember reading years ago how he loved Londoners and hated northerners slagging them and London off, so he cultivated his Mockney persona and has well and truly gone native. I'm pretty sure he adopted a London team to support, to complete the picture.
