Unlucky lad. Injuries, a love of pies and the fact you found it maybe a little too diofficult making the step up on a regular run seem to have cost you. I liked Mellor.

Thanks in particular for Arsenal and Olympiakos. YNWA

I think he's good enough to play in the Premiership. I wish we'd kept him in case of injuries. Not a bad player to have when you need a goal.

Good luck.

i think he could play in the Premiership too.. i had hoped it would be for us but injuries put paid to that.. he's a goalscorer and could have done a job off the bench (as proven).. sorry to see him go.. gutted but good luck lad..

Good Luck Gerd, Olyimpiacos will never be forgotten. Hope we see him back at Anfield soon in the Premiership.

Pleased for him that he's got what looks like a really good move

I just hope his injury troubles are behind him now, and he can make a really good go of this.

It's a shame to see someone who obviously loves the club leave. Hopefully we'll get PNE in the cup and we can give him a proper send off/welcome back.

Shame really, I think he could have made it if he had the chance and avoided injuries.

Don't forget we wouldn't have won the European Cup without his performance vs Olympiakos.

I'm gutted for Neil as well. Shame it didn't work out for the lad.

That Arsenal goal I will always remember as I screamed for the next five minutes.

Good luck and all the best!!! ;)

Best of luck to him. Not many people get such a big role in our history as he played in 2005.

All the best, kid.

One of the many thousands that never quite make the top grade. Although its a shame too see someone with a Liverpool heart move on, but its the best thing that can happen to him. I am sure he will be ahit up the road at PNE.

Hopefuly, the lucky lucky gunners will get PNE as one of the spawny home FA cup ties, only to get stuffed by another great Mellor goal

Neil good luck, thanks for the one up the Arsè :o:D

Is right.

Showed a lot of bottle during all the injuries we had, playing as the lone forward player at places like Monaco away as well.
