Does anybody actually know the full details of this clause, speculation has such a varying degree of stipulations, that £6m and 31/7 seem to be the only constant

This has been such a constant rumour, that my head wants him here. My heart says no.

I now know why they put these stupid commercials on the telly all the time, cause sooner or later I'll buy the s***. -even Libresse.

my mate is a Blackburn fan and he said that Hughes, Bellamy and Bellamy's agent have said that no such clause exists

Have they said that in public? I've not seen any denial

Since we have not qualified for the CL yet, I have my doubt about us being able to activate the clause in Bellamy`s contract.

Give it a rest.

no, neither have I.

He was adamant this was the case though and he's not a BS merchant.

pretty common to fax transfer offers. LFC received a fax from Chelsea within one hour of Gerrard saying he wanted to leave offering £35m.

Correct, and I believe as matter of business practice a fax has more 'legality' to it than an e-mail.

what about a scanned in fax or pdf file on an email?

Dunno Mike I was just surprised to discover a few years back that solicitors can accept a faxed copy of some types of documentation as if it were a hard copy, including signatures. Also lending institutions will accept faxed copies of all kinds of stuff but not if it's on an e-mail.

he is a very good striker and at a good price I have to say he'd be a perfect buy (if he can iron out his c***ness)

I think that's a sexual practice currently big in Blackburn though so maybe he doesn't want to stop it?

...ok...but what if you SCAN the signed paperwork and ATTACH it to an EMAIL...

you'll find there is no difference my ancient friend.

For what it's worth, faxes are used more or less all of the time when putting in a formal bid. Agree the fee over the phone and then put it in writing (fax).

Don't know if any of the clubs have got their heads around using email for this or not yet.

Secondly, I do not like Bellamy as a player, and I don't think I would like him as a person.

...kin ell, im having 2nd thoughts about this now Kev.

with your track record he could be brilliant for us.

don't think that really matters does it Kev - 's not like you are going to have to become his bessy mate :D

Why don't you like him as a player, Kev?

I find him to be a moaning sod, not as bad as Cisse, but still a moaning sod if the ball is not played right. I think he's not a clever player and often seeks out the wrong option, he scores spectacular goals and we all seem to remember them.

In his previous clubs there have often been reports of him being disruptive in the dressing room.

If he comes in and does the biz he can moan on the pitch as much as he likes for all I care.

I carefully worded my response. I cannot say "I don't like him as a person" because I have never met him, but if I did, then I probably wouldn't like him. ;)

Just my opinion, but's its often been proved to be right
