Oh, I agree, especially a club like Liverpool (tbh). They rely on big name clubs such as ourselves to maintain their (Sky-high) revenues. Assuming that Purslow does indeed have a vote on any takeover, and assuming any potential purchaser knows this, I find it difficult to believe there would not be assurances about his continued employment, or a sizeable payoff.

Don't forget, Football league != Premier league. Who knows what the rules that govern the PL are. I reckon this is going to be an "interesting" week as far as potential takeovers are concerned. s*** is certainly happening.

Something about the Monaco deal (at 7 to 8M euros) being almost complete, but then Liverpool stepped in with a bigger offer to complicated matters.
