Agree with this. Can and Sakho were excellent, and yet we were poor at the back. Kolo was shocking, the wingbacks were pushed right back by Arsenal's positivity, and neither are at their best defending. The strange bit for me was then playing 3 CM's, none of whom are particularly attacking. This was changed quite early with the Hendo/Lazar switch, and was understandable, no matter how wasted Hendo is at WB. At our best last season we had 4 attack minded players, for most of this season it's been 3, and we started today with 2. The first 15 minutes was predictable, we improved, but if we are going to play with wing backs, we need to make sure we have players who can excel there, and also avoid playing 3 defensive minded CM's.
