Martinus

He's a wing back. So therefore he will never be good enough as I refuse to accept we will play with a back 3.

How bad is he by the way? Makes Djimi Traore look elegant with the ball.

I think regardless of the coach the squad is of really poor quality and a mess. Needs a Klopp rebuild similar to when he replaced Rodgers. Mamardashvilli, Kerkez, Konate, Gomez, Frimpong, Endo, Mac Allister, Jones, Elliot, Gakpo, Chiesa for different reasons should all go. Van Dijk and Allison are both way past their best. Salah and Robertson are already off. What's left? Bradley (injury prone, squad player if fit) Gravenberch, Szoboszlai and Ekitike, Leoni, Rio, Jacquet (keep) Keep but have it all to prove Wirtz and Isak

Jürgen. Come and save us.

Average? He's shockingly bad.

He's going to sign 11 new players. Obvious isn't it.

Maybe we are waiting for him? Id personally have him over Xabi right now.

Probably this. Hopefully this.

I'm not convinced he's the right man for the Slot replacement, but I get that he has to make his own career choices. Still, moving to Chelsea would be surprising, it pretty much rules him out ever managing Liverpool.

Problem is he's still comfortably better than Mamardashvilli, so unless we have a worldie coming in to replace Ali then it's best we keep him, considering we need at least 6 signings elsewhere.

I mean, Slot said yesterday the summer business won't be as big this time around. If Ali goes we need a GK,RB, X2 Mids and X2 for the forward line that's 6 and assumes Konate stays and Tsimikas returns as backup LB.

Hopefully he can nip the losing streak in the bud.

I know loads and they already believe Arteta is a better manager than Klopp if they go on and win anything this season they will be unbearable.

Season just gets worse. Arsenal champions

He's only 21 as well much better than Robertson was at the same age.

Listening to Carragher, it sounds like Slot is aiming for a Guardiola-esque, technical style at Liverpool. Personally? I don't want that. Even if it brings success, I find that style dull. Given the choice, I’d take the intensity of the Klopp era over City-style control any day

He was decent in a back 3 system because he is a wing back. He's not good enough defensively in a back 4 and not good enough as a winger. Victor Moses remember him? Won the league playing for Chelsea playing as a wing back in a back 3 system.

I think it's guaranteed he leaves in the summer. This is just public unity now.

Need to focus on getting rid of Slot before judging any new signing. Absolutely we need.more from Wirtz but given he's playing in the worst Liverpool team in years, yet has scored and assisted more than Odegard and Palmer and until yesterday Saka gives hope.

Yep and no doubt he'll be first choice for Argentina and be great in the world cup.

I think we should let Mac go on a free.

Only real player in credit this season.

Good god has there been a time when Liverpool and Man U have both been this s***e.

When I said we needed at least 6 new signings a few weeks back, there were a few on here who disagreed. I agree I was wrong, we need about 10.

Konate not very good and Van Dijk is done and Freddie bless him is a league one keeper.
