I don't get posts like this. Is it an attempt to show 'superfan' loyalty to the cause? We've started the season with exactly the same issues as last year (probably longer actually). There is no progress visible and we announced to the world who are 2 top targets were in the summer. We ended up with neither for this year and no alternatives. I don't think it is an over reaction to call it out.

That sums up the whole team. No one is capable of grabbing the game by the scruff of the neck and dragging a result out of it.

This is the thing for me. Lemar looks good from what I've seen and read, but along with a number of others that have been suggested, it's always X and VVD. We desperately need the dominating, leader of a CB. Lemar would be the icing on the cake if we got the CB (plus keep coutinho and Can signs the extension and maintains the form of the last 2 games).

They will be meaning 100 guaranteed rather than upfront. The rest as bonus payments.

I don't think Klopp will be here next season. I can see this year being one big cloud of negativity. He's going to lose patience with the owners or the fans (or both).

Klopp's subs are always baffling and ultimately pointless. He changes personnel too late for it to make a difference.

Can't wait for the transfer window. We need a GK, CB, CM and a replacement for Sturridge. Oh wait.... f***ing ridiculous. Nothing has changed since last year. Next summer we'll be replacing Coutinho as well but without CL football I'd guess.

We are so s*** at defending. Jurgen needs to take responsibility for this as well. How do other teams cope without Van Dijk? He isn't the only player who could improve our back four.

We really are a shambles now aren't we? We were holding on to get 4th last season with no distractions. We needed real quality in 2 or 3 areas and we also needed depth. We've not delivered on either of those and now our best player is wanting to leave. My belief is that Coutinho has told the club he wanted to go early on and thought it would be done amicably. It's getting late on now so he's put the transfer request in. He hasn't surprised us with this. And let's be honest, with the complete lack of ambition shown, who can blame him.

Klavan and Moreno on that side look like competition winners! Will be good to see how Robertson looks over the next few games. I do wonder what the future holds for Gomez. Looks a talented player but needs game time. With Van Dijk (possibly), Matip and Lovren ahead of him he might get frustrated.
