Watching Germany vs France you can see that Can is going to be a fantastic footballer and I'd argue he's already our best CM. As expected though, he is still making daft mistakes and is inconsistent. I'm amazed we haven't seen any links to any established, top quality midfielders. We were overrun last season on a number of occasions and I don't see that improving without changes. Add that to the fact we don't seem to be addressing the left back issue or adding to our striking options, transfers and links are a bit disappointing really. Still time to go obviously, but what promised to be a good summer of change is feeling a bit flat really. Chelsea will be improved next season, City will be up there. Arsenal always manage top 4 and Utd are going to be challenging. Spurs will do OK with Leicester as an unknown quantity this season. How much magic are we hoping Klopp can bring to the side in order to overcome that group? At least we'll have made a profit though.
